Awesome shop - quick to respond by email, nothing too much trouble, no question too daft. Plenty of instruments and equipment on hand to test when you visit, never felt rushed or pushed - run by genuine guys who sell instruments they know and love. Absolutely superb.

As I live in Germany I bought my Vigier Excalibur over the Wildwire webstore and had only contact per email. But nevertheless my customer experience was excellent. Very good response times and very detailed answers. As a customer you get the feeling that these guys (in my case Leon) care about you and have a real interest in helping you.
I really can highly recommend this store and will not hesitate to buy from them again.

I'm sometimes sceptical of online reviews and how genuine they are. However, in the case of Wildwire everything that's said previously is accurate. Great showroom, well laid out and plenty of choice. However, as a relative beginner what I most appreciated was the friendly, non-intimidating and balanced advice. I didn't feel compelled to buy but I was so impressed with the service and convinced that I'd been helped to a decision right for me, I was happy to buy. Thanks guys!

I bought my Gibson J45 from Wild wire guitars. I had a fantastic experience in the store. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. They even let me sing in the shop ! hopefully I didn't scare anyone off !!! I will definitely be returning when I am ready for another guitar. The guitar is perfect for me and sounds incredible. I ordered a PRS guitar for my husband for our five year "wood" anniversary. Leon was wonderful to work with and obtained all the proper permits, allowing the guitar to ship from the UK to Canada quickly and without any hold-ups. It arrived in perfect condition and my husband has only put it down to go to work :)

I ordered a PRS CE 24 from Wildwire Guitars to Czech Republic. The guitar arrived here quickly, earlier than announced, and in perfect condition. A great guitar shop with excellent service. They gave me a good deal when I traded my Epiphone Sheraton in for a Tanglewood semi acoustic which sounds great. Good to have a guitar shop like this in Selby.

I found Wildwire over the summer of 2017 and have been back and forth for various bits and pieces over the past few months. During this time, I've also been saving as I was looking to upgrade from my first guitar (a Squier Strat) to something a little nicer.

Last Saturday, I finally had enough to make my big purchase and went along to Wildwire. I spent an amazing afternoon chatting to the guys and trying different guitars. I never felt rushed or pressured and was even made a cup of tea :)

Also met Ben Shand (a luthier who does some work with wildwire) who gave me some great advice & honest opinions on the guitars I was trying. I finally selected the Bernie Marsden SE which Ben noted the action was a touch high - within 5 minutes, he'd tweaked it to perfection for me.

Great customer service from these guys - honestly can't recommend them enough.

Wonderful shop - a real find. Friendly service without pressure. They're happy for you to spend time there exploring your needs and offer advice when asked for. No pressure selling either, in fact I was advised to keep hold of what I had rather than trade it in for a guitar they had in stock because they thought I might 'regret it'. I've bought an acoustic there (lovely selection on offer), an electric amp (they had what I wanted when many of the larger shops couldn't get hold of one for me) and I've had 3 electrics and 1 bass all expertly repaired and set up by their excellent service dept. All reasonably priced. Couldn't be happier with the service. Although it's a 40min drive for me, I won't go anywhere else now. Highly recommended.

Having owned a Taylor 114ce I decided to upgrade and was looking to buy a new Taylor dreadnought but wasn't quite sure what model to go for. After checking out a number of websites the Wildwire website seemed to offer a great selection so I decided to travel down from Scotland to try out the ones I'd seen on the website and was pleasantly surprised to see so many more Taylor acoustic guitars on display. Staff were great and advised a few models to try which had the kind of sound I was looking for. I decided to go for the Taylor 510e which was a bit higher up the price range than I had intended to pay but now that I have had it a few days I know I've made the right decision. Staff were really helpful and ultimately help me decide which guitar was right for me.

I would be happy to recommend Wildwire to anyone looking to buy an acoustic guitar.

Received my PRS custom 24 from this company sent to me in two days to Cyprus from the UK the person I dealt with was called LEON .
The hole transaction was done over the phone and he had patience and gave me all the time I needed to decide what I wanted followed up with photos and email .
I would recommend this company and staff , brilliant service .

Wildwire had the best available deals on high-spec PRS guitars. We exchanged with Leon over email and then over the phone and it gave me confidence that this is a really serious business and that they know what they are doing. Leon was really helpful and honest, providing a great customer experience. Also, the fact that they had an event organised with Paul Reed Smith himself spoke for how serious they are about quality instruments and customer service excellence.
Leon made sure to ship the instrument on the day of purchase so that I could get it the next day.
I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for top shelf guitars..

Called up to discuss buying an H&K amp, had great advice from Leon. I bought one, it arrived promptly. Had an unfortunate issue but Leon was amazing, helping me and doing his utmost. Issue sorted, I can't praise his knowledge, communication, customer service and honesty highly enough. And he even kindly sent a book I didn't even know existed to extend my understanding of my new amp.

Buy anything and everything you need from this store. You just cannot go wrong- they won't let you.

Leon and the crew at Wildwire Guitars are one of those exceptional mixes of supremely knowledgeable, massively helpful and stockists of the absolute best in breed.

I was looking for a particular Vigier model that's hard to get. I had previously found another outlet through googling but had a bad experience with them. I contacted the Vigier uk rep and he recommended I get in touch with Wildwire Guitars; which to me was a good sign.

From first contact with Leon he was exceptionally pleasant and conscientious. He really made sure what I was ordering was right for me, but equally recognised I had a certain level of knowledge and pitched the initial conversation perfectly; never patronising, but always adding value.

Throughout the ordering and buying process, the guys were very very accommodating and always kept a good communication schedule. Particularly telling for me after was I got a personal email asking how the guitar was and making sure I was happy. I most definitely was.

Big gear purchases can often be a little intimidating but I would have absolutely no hesitation to go back to the guys again. Such a rarity to find a store whose primary interest is not selling what they need to sell, but getting you what you need to have.

Just reading this back, I realise I'm being quite effusive and it may sound like I have a vested interest. I really don't, beyond hoping others have a similarly good experience to me, and that the guys keep trading long into the future so I can buy from them again :)
