Similar to chinese sellers like alixxx etc in cases of customer service. I got only standardized answers by bots or AI. Yeah thats the presence and future but when there are special information about a case there need to be a real agent talking to you. The company behind willhaben is not trustworthy or recommendable.

No feedback system on the platform

No feedback system on the platform. If you get scammed you can't leave negative feedbacks. The scammers are rampant because there's no way to distinguish them from genuine sellers. The platform offers a service where they mediate between buyer and seller (PayLivery) but nobody uses it (presumably because their scams would not work otherwise). Horrible experience this is even worse than Kleinanzeigen.

This is a somewhat non-transparent…

This is a somewhat non-transparent seller's market :
- No auction - therefore no transparent, realistic pricing.
- No participant ratings possible BEFORE a trade without Paylivery - the aim is to force customers to use Paylivery in order to earn money.
However, trust is gained with the previous ratings.
- Blocking the use of VPN / foreign access: Why?
- In my opinion, ricardo (ch) or Ebay are much better, only “local patriotism” may have promoted willhaben in this country.

Willhaben is a good idea gone bad

This website discriminates foreign countries by blocking their IPs automatically. Then it discriminates foreign people by disabling their country telephone codes. Oh, you need support? Prepare to meet with the *worst* Customer Service in Europe; you'll be lucky to have a support ticket replied to by email after 15-20 business days!

The website code is junk and their search function is useless. Of course there are many nice people posting because there's good people everywhere but you can find some of the most annoying, entitled and selfish people selling and buying junk in Austria.

Beware many offers are overpriced and all Austrian scammers have set up shop in Willhaben under their protection. You're better off shopping elsewhere unless you have the time and need to run around picking other people's trash.

Don't use paylivery, it is a complete rip off.…

Sold something in January 24 and was informed a few weeks later that it was damaged in the post, today is the 26th April and I am still waiting to find out whats happening. They charge you a fee as an insurance incase anything like this happens and then just ignore you and don't react to any emails or messages and of course you can't contact them by phone at all. Ripoff.

PayLivery is basically a scam.

PayLivery is basically a scam.
You pay for a service to protect you from getting scammed or if something goes wrong with buying or selling.
But thats the theory PayLivery let you believe in and pay for, here s just one story i picked from my own experiences:
Bought almost new product, condition was good upon recieving, could load its battery fully but i couldnt turn it on so i texted the seller, tryin to find solutions etc.
Then i decided to give it back. First they asked for pictures of packing and conversation, which i sent them but it wasnt enough or lacking etc.
After almost a week they said they need proof that im not lying a requested a video ... never experienced like this.
I even did that to proof my words.
But even after the video no help, what im missing most is any word of apology or regret.
See you at the court ...

Worst support ever - can't login for no reason

I made a Announcement for my Laptop and put a URL-Link in it (from geizhals), so that people can have a closer look to my laptop specs.. In the meantime i bought something with PayLivery and after 1 hour I was logged out on all devices and now I can't login cause of "no known combination of username/password".. But it is 100% the right login, cause I have a passwort-manager... When u google u find 1000 other posts about these things..

Now I can't login, can't confirm my PayLivery Order and can't message people back... I made a ticket 7days ago and nothing so far...

I think it was the Link im my Announcement which triggered the auto temp ban... bad system..

Worst Support ever.. no wonder so much scammers are on willhaben...

Willhaben should have a look on the latest 100 reviews, 99 of them with 1star - nice

Worst ever

They have absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life. They are completely unfriendly and disrespectful of the users. I communicated with them on several occasions because they blocked my account without any explanation and when I requested an answer and assistance all I got was ignore. They are using the monopoly that they have on market with rudeness, arrogance and disrespect. And they simply don’t care.

No help against scammers

I was scamed on this buy&sell platform.
I contacted the willhaben and they said they can't do anything, that they were not responsible for what people selling.
And the last one: they did't even block that scammer seller.

Absolutely no support from this platform.

Be very careful when you buy something here, you are on your own risk!!! No one helps you!!!
