Stick with Windows 7

Being badgered into buying a new computer with Windows 10 installed I soon realised how good Windows 7 was. All I needed was my own choice of virus protection and my old copy of Office.
Now big Brother Microsoft says I mustn't use many of the programms I feel familiar with, such as my old faithful Office. I'm told that I must buy 365 at £3 odd a month to write perhaps one article and a letter. At this point the new and totally blameless computer nearly became airborne.
I like Google, I know how to use it but 10 shoves a cluttered browser at me. Very pretty but I don't want your news choices, the stories about bimbos in their red running pants or the picture of a lake that won't be fished by me - ever! If I want to see pictures of bimbos in red I'm sure there's a specialist website somewhere.
OK I'm stuck with 10 but having now got rid of S mode I can at least get non microsoft apps and use Google as my browser. I'm not happy with the free Office app however.
Microsoft is too big, it's a giant and someone should take a pair of pruning shears to its beanstalk.

Warning - hackers may lead you here as part of getting control of your PC …

This site is probably ok, like many others, BUT BE WARNED..
Indian (and possibly other) hackers pretending to be Microsoft etc are using it as one step in getting control of your PC. DO not let any external caller download stuff to your PC!!

They get you to run on your PC the os command assoc .. - tell you the long id number, is supposedly to confirm they are really microsoft, but that number is common on windows computers.

then cmd eventvwr you look at lots of event lines, many with Error ..( but these are normal ).

Then they say run cmd www . windows10download . com

I let the caller get as this far, did not actually execute it.
At this point I called his bluff, invoked divine intervention on him, and told him to get a proper job. He told me I am a mothertruth *(??) and the laugh was on me because he had reversed the charges to me at the start of the call. Another lie.
God help the ordinary people from these scum scammers.

Shocking. No quality & support. Time for some granny smiths

Windows 10. Well all i can say is i have better turds with more quality.
Auto Installed on my pc, Seriously corrupted and stole data passwords etc, and very nearly made me top myself, with trying to sort it out because no support. Microsoft took remote control of my pc and after two hours they failed. WOW.
Action fraud + Microsoft = Wigan council.
