Thief in the staff
I have sent them more than 15 phones (trying to make of this a side hustle) they pay you always less than your personal rating of the phone's condition. But that's not yet the worst part, the worst part is when you send an expensive phone for example ssamsung s22 ultra 256gb or 512gb or iphone 12 pro max 512gb, or etc, they steal the phone and report to you that they haven't received the phone! So you have to try your best to report that case to the police and dhl and get your self a lot of headaches... Best advice don't sell them expensive stuff because there is a thief in their staff! This happened 3 times with me! I advise you to find another company like cleverbuy or zoxs.
Worst service
Worst service. Show best price for your gadgets to get your attention and then undervalue it below market price once you send it. I don’t know why but only their technicians find scratches everywhere where even god can not find scratches. Either thei technician have eyes that can see 1000x zoom or we are fools to believe in their service. Never ever never ever use this service, if you want to save time, money, and want your new gadgets to be new and not sctrached by their technicians.
Alluring, but NOT worth it and they will not buy as what they claim
I was selling my iPhone 11 pro, the condition according to their website was "Gut" and the offer was ~510€.
Upon receiving the package and few delays of examination they informed me that the condition is not as good, because there are some dusts in the lenses (could be, but I definitely couldn't spot), the speaker is damaged (it wasn't, or maybe I'm deaf too) and there are multiple scratches and a also a borderline visibly big scratch on the display (the only truthful part, and that's why I labeled it as "Gut (3)" and not "Wie Neu (2)"), worth mentioning some scratches do fall under the category of Gut in their own definition on their website.
Nevertheless, their modified offer was 170€ after all of that, which is way less than what I could easily get for selling it off elsewhere, so I requested a return.
Upon return turns out it's their policy to destroy all other items, including the original packaging, the unused charging cable and the original documents that go with the phone!
After complaining via email they mentioned that it's my own fault for not reading the paper (it indeed is, superficially anyways), however how does that make sense to destroy perfectly new and unused components just because it's your policy 👎🏻?
On my part I had just acted on good faith and hadn't bothered to read every single item on the list because a friend who had tried to sell to this company before had it referred to me and it was 100% clear to me that they're definitely not a scam, turns out I should've been paranoid with them and there's a thing called "semi-scam" as well.

SCAM! Device in perfect condition with power supply. The "technicians" couldn't figure out, if the supply works. So they offered 200 EUR less than initially. Really? Waiting for tem to return the device. Never ever!

Update about conflict case
update on 28 Feb
I contacted Customer Services via their website and was offered to send my iphone to them again for the "brand new" price as initially offer. It took more than 2 weeks with some back and fort emails but the payment came through and I got the money today.
So out of 4 cases I dealed with wirkaufein so far, 3 came throught without problem only this one resulted in a conflict. But because my device are always brand new, it's easier to claim with them when conflict happens.
So if you consider to do business with them, you need to calculate the risk of conflict as well.

They opened it, activated Apple Guarantee and rated the iphone as “like new” (wie neu) and offered to pay me the “like new price” which is around 40€ less. I didn’t agree to that and received my phone back as opened and Guarantee activated which decreased the value of my phone.
The money is not that much but it damages my property which I take very seriously and might involve lawyer.
Only consider doing business with this company, if your insurance cover lawyer fees cause you might very well need that.

As many others here, I sent a perfectly good computer imac to Wirkaufens that arrived damaged due to hermes and wirkaufens negligence. After 1 montgs of claims noone even gives me an update or takes responsability for this situation. Stay away from this company - its a scam! They destroy your property, dont pay what they promised and have no respect for the customer. Scam company in my experience.
Everything worked as expected
Everything worked as expected, I got the price they offered and they accepted my device as „Like New“ (which it was to be fair). I was concerned about the reviews I saw on here, but they are similarly bad for other sites that offer this service, but I think this is also due to the fact that unhappy customers re more likely to leave a review in the first place.

I was skeptical about WIRKAUFENS as I had never heard of this platform. I did some research and even checked reviews on Trustpilot before, nevertheless I decided to give it a shot. Believe me: I should have probably listened to the other reviews and stayed away from WIRKAUFENS.
I wanted to sell my old iMac from 2012. While the iMac is old and does not receive OS updates from Apple, it still works perfectly fine and had 0 signs of usage, visually looking brand new. It was evaluated 464 EUR. The iMac was sent in the original packaging (OVP + Versandverpackung) for optimal protection. Before sending my device, I took pictures and documenting everything as I was packing the iMac.
The package was sent on 1 November. I received the confirmation it was received on 3 November. Afterwards it was just silence. The status of my evaluation was updated on 9 November and it said "Waiting for a reply" with still the same offer of 464 EUR. However, I did not receive any email from them and did not know if and where to accept the offer. So I'm sending an email to their support service on 11 November.
Today I receive an automated email from them (not even a reply to my support request) stating that my iMac does fulfill their requirements and they are sending it back to me. I was not even offered a counter-offer like other platforms would do. According to their evaluation, the iMac does not work properly and the screen has several signs of usage or up to 3 strong marks... which was not the case at the time it was sent to WIRKAUFENS.
I saw on Truspilot other customers complaining about similar experiences and who ever received another device that was not their, or their device had damages that where not there before, missing accessories or missing original packaging... so I'm curious to see what I'll get back... I'll update this review once I have received my device back.

After sending my MacBook Pro in super good condition (like new and I have photos from before proving it) I received it back with the argument that the retina was damaged....and it seems like wirkaufens did the damage because not only that Retina display was in great condition, I also went to an apple store before sending to wirkaufen and guess what: it had no single damage and it came back with a damage from wirkaufen...will I have to file the photos and proofs with a lawyer or is wirkaufen willing to be professional and answer?

Sent in a very good Mac Pro 3.33GHz 5.1 Model in November 2020, received an email that the computer was damaged upon arrival by Hermes, in December 2020. After 4 months and several emails we were told Hermes denied the claim and that the packiging was to blame. Received another email that we needed to make a claim with Hermes and we were told by Hermes no because the company that contracted the shipping has to make the claim.
The computer was returned and upon inspection you could tell that it was dropped by someone due to the damage, inside the graphics card was broken off from the main board and the main board was broken too. They shipped the Mac Pro back in the same shipping box that it was sent in and the box had NO damage to it, that would have caused this type of destruction! It is obvious that they dropped the computer and damaged it, and instead of admitting a mistake they used the blame game to try and pawn off guilt. Very bad communication, very shady business practices and they could care less about being an honest company.

Didn’t accept an absolutely well working MacBook Air
After the company received my well working MacBook they told me that they wouldn’t buy it since the condition of the device wouldn’t meet their buying criteria - without further explaining what exactly is wrong with the MacBook. What a hussle for nothing! Don’t sell your stuff to this company. Not trustworthy!

Horrible service
Received a quote for 230€ on their website for a used S9+ which had 0 scratches cause it was never used without a case or protective glass. I had erased my data and checked the screen if there where any problems, which there were not. About 5 days later I get a message for a new quote of 35€ (!!) Because apparently a Google account was burned into the display which it absolutely wasn't, I had checked it before I sent it in. What a waste of time! I will never send anything to this company again. They will always massively undercut your original quote.
