If I could put below zero, I would. The worst possible app I’ve ever seen. I pay the money in the morning and they appear on my child’s account hours later, my poor child hasn’t been given food because account was showing that there’s no money. She was hungry all day. I don’t know why the school is still collaborating with them, in another schools systems are so much better but unfortunately we’re not that lucky and can’t get rid of it.

Terrible app. I have to change my password everytme I want to log in. App is confusing and unclear. I dread using it.

Rubbish app been trying to pay for a school trip as cash isn't accepted anymore!!! And it keeps saying details are incorrect or payment declined! Tried several different cards as i thought it might not like the card i was using but no it didn't like any of them.so no school trip for my daughter

All my payments to the school through WisePay got duplicated and credit to school accounts only once. When I tried to contact WisePay they replied that their products are for school and not parents directly, what a horrible treatment of clients

The most useless payment app and website I have ever seen and used. My question why my daughter's school are using it ? Two accounts that I can't merge. One of then I can't even login. Impossible to reset the PW. Tried the app with the login given by school , the username dosn't match as they only accept email format, whish is wrong. No transaction history, only the balance. How do I know what my child is eating or spending the money on?

If I could give minus 1 star I would! Total garbage , slow and funds take a decade to arrive meaning my son has missed lunch on more than one occasion! Equally annoyed the school uses them knowing how bad they are

Utterly useless. Over all the years our kids of been at high school we have only once been able to make a payment. Log in failures, missing payment options on a terribly clunky, tin-pot website that is almost certainly insecure. The company needs to hire a web engineer, even a student, who can solve the basic glitches that plague the website. The app would not even run.

This site must have been written at least over 10 years ago and I could forgive the clunky, unintuitive annoying UX. But what I just do not understand is why it is so slow. I've written code in asp/aspx 15 years ago and it was not as slow as this. It's like they're missing an index on their tables. Just unacceptable. You can't have a web page taking over 20 seconds to load. The developers should be ashamed of themselves. 4 years done of my expected excruciating 7 years of Wisepay. I hope the next school don't use it.
They should rename it to Slowpay.

Wisepay never is working properly!
Sometimes takes long time, days to add or take the money from the account.
Today even can't open!
The software should be not using anymore in schools!
My boy lost his lunch a few times ,because wisepay takes days to adjust the money on the account!

Terrible platform. Paid £50 on it recently which has gone out of my bank but never showed in my WisePay account. You can’t get hold of them to speak to anyone. Just an email address. How can you be a payment platform and have no phone support? Shocking support and we have no choice but to use it. Terrible company.

Awful. Never been the best platform, always been slow and clunky but have to use it as that's what the school use, no choice. But since the last app update it has deteriorated beyond use, cant even login now. Stuck to using website which isn't great either, slow, cumbersome, clunky. Never remembers card details despite them being stored. School needs to drop Wisepay and find a better solution.

The site never works, making it impossible to pay for anything because the captcha is broken.

Lack of support regarding the auto upload, login issues for students, support take days to respond. Wisepay is now considered a swear word.

This is possibly the worst system you could use. Initially they had poor security exposing all our data. Then they fix that by needing to have a password reset every time you need to log in because it can’t remember the one it just gave you. As a school this is great if you enjoy annoying all the kids parents!

Clunky, and dated platform. It gives me no confidence that my details are safe. God help you logging in if you have kids at different schools both using Wisepay. Everytime I have to re-set passwords and it gets confused bless it.

Seriously need to upgrade the platform.

I used wisepay.co.uk for the first time 8 years ago and it was a poor experience.

I now have to use it again. I moved from parentpay in the past which was very easy to set to raise alerts when the balance was too low, etc. It was also reliable. With this new system, even before I joined, I was told it was having reliability issues.

When I did, I noticed that I am not able to setup regular topics and no alerts. After 10 years, it is still the same old product. They push people to speak to the school or college and effectively they are not able to do anything else apart from telling you to check the site as often as you think you need! So there are no alerts, topups etc!

I also tried to email wisepay directly to engage. It was the first time in a very long while I was blocked from sending any email, I received a message as if I was spamming them.

No wonder it is such a bad service, they close their ears and probably pretend they are a great service. the website has some nice sounding material but there is absolutely no communication.

The URL for my school is also very difficult to find on the site. Overall a very out of date offering.

I use wisepay through my children's school and I don't trust it at all. It has regular issues allowing me to login and it's not possible to reset your password properly. Often the website is simply not available.

When I do log in, it has payment items on my list that have already been paid for and new ones that I expect to see that aren't there. I often I need to call the school to let them know what I am actually paying for. On top of that it has crashed more than once at the point you pay with your credit card so you can't tell if you paid or not.

I have no choice but to use this company but given the shambles that is their system, I am worried about my personal data they have about me. I will be asking them to remove all my personal data as soon as I no longer have to use them.
