Well, the hole where you place the votive is too small - very hard to get a votive in there, and then when it is in there, there is minimal oxygen flow so the flame is hard to keep lit. But also, the beautiful brass votive holder does not hold standard votives, so you pretty much can not use the brass holder. It is beautiful, but not worth $120
