Wolf in sheep’s clothing

This company came to service our oil boiler some years ago. He told us we needed new parts which he ordered and returned to change, he took the existing parts away which we thought was strange at the time. The Boiler was still making a noise and we called an alternative engineer who informed us that the parts he had changed very rarely failed and it was very unusual. He asked us to get the parts back from the previous engineer and he could tell us if they had failed, when we asked the previous engineer, he refused saying he had scrapped them. We were not happy and insisted he returned, but he refused !! . We had an issue with our Boiler again recently and my husband inadvertently called Wolf Heating, forgetting the problems they had caused a few years ago. When he rang to check what time they were coming the man told us he would be there at 3 pm and wanted to confirm the address, after my Husband confirmed the address the man questioned if he had been before ?. Once he realised , he did a u turn and told us he was unable to attend, he told us he had sent a text saying he couldn’t make it yet he didn’t attempt to make a new appointment. Strange, considering he told us at the beginning of the phone call he was attending at 3pm that day !!.We did not receive any such text. Avoid this man and use him at your peril !. Make sure he leave’s your (so called) faulty parts with you!!.
