Wonderlearn, it says it all in the name! I know Charlotte since my boy was in his primary years as she was an English teacher at my son’s school. Heard she was going to be leaving and starting her new venture “ Wonderlearn “ and my son had her for 11plus and beyond. Mrs Watson makes English very creative and make them use their imagination! Teaching style: 9-10 year olds need to be made comfortable in the class. Charlotte made sure that my son looked forward to her classes.

Content : 11 plus needs targeted learning - neither too easy nor scary. The content struck the right balance.

Experience : children regularly confirmed that their understanding of the topics was improving.

Charlotte is an incredibly hard working and positive spirit! We were impressed by her thoroughly well researched study material for the 11+ exams.
She focusses on building confidence by using various techniques, incentivising performance and regular feedback. In my son’s words “the best English teacher ever!!” 11+ is a challenging process and it’s important to have a teacher who inspire the children. We would highly recommend Wonderlearn.

My son thoroughly enjoys the live experience and energy of Wonderlearn and looks forward to the classes. He is not a natural reader nor writer but in his own words ‘lessons are 10/10 and Mrs Watson makes learning really fun’.

Rare ability to connect with the student to bring the best out of them and is very passionate about her work. I have seen a massive improvement in my son’s work and even personality ever since he started Wonderlearn. The lessons polished his writing and grammar skills and gave him the confidence that he lacked and they are delivered with such enthusiasm and passion that he always enjoys them. I would highly recommend Wonderlearn for 11+ preparation as different exam tips and techniques are taught which will help your child ace the exam. I was so impressed by Wonderlearn that I even enrolled my thirteen year old daughter, who was already studying in a local grammar school, in the Year 8 lessons.

Wonderlearn has kept my teen inspired, engaged and looking forward to each lesson! It's obvious that a lot of heart and soul goes into the preparation for and delivery of each lesson.
There's been a dramatic improvement in the standard of written work and this is reflected in marks achieved at school.
I've also noticed the development of critical thinking and analysis skills, the benefits of which are rippling out into other subjects.

Wonderlearn offers a very thorough & extremely engaging English tutoring, to my 9 year old son. His class is small in numbers (est.10 a class) which enables all children to be involved. Full of energy, enthusiasm & a passion for teaching, the class is excellent. Wonderlearn has been extremely professional during the Pandemic and has adapted the lessons to online with the children’s safety and continued education as a priority. My son’s understanding of grammar and English comprehension has improved massively since he joined last year.
