Wrong item sent. Dealing with this company was tortuous. Refused to confirm they would send the correct item. Would never use this company again.

I've used this company many times for shelf brackets and they've always been brilliant! Customer service was excellent and the quality is always good. The brackets are beautiful, well cast and nicely unusual. They always send out really quickly and the prices are excellent. All I ask is please, please use another delivery company as DHL are shockingly bad. Not this companies fault but it does put a damper on things.

Website is easy to use and items are good value. However one that I received was broken, I contacted the company with a photo to show the damage asking for a replacement to be sent out and got no response. Wouldn’t risk buying anything else again from them.

I decided I needed a side table in the living room, but I wanted to make something a little different from the norm. I wanted an industrial look and began to search online for suitable black pipes and flanges, which I found on Wood N Wax website. I ordered the black steam punk 26cm table legs with a connector - 4 of them. They came quickly and I started my new project - they were beautiful - very pleased with them. I ran out of black screws so I took one of the legs to B & Q to size up for black screws. Anyway I bought the screws but unfortunately I left the leg at the shop. I realised at 3.45 on Sunday just gone and the manager said he would look out for them that evening. I couldn't get there before it shut at 4pm. To cut a long story short, I still haven't found the leg but the staff at B & Q were brilliant. I decided to ring Wood n Wax today and spoke to Karen who, despite having a bad flu, was amazing, explaining that I could order the individual parts for one table leg instead of having to buy another 4! I was so very grateful and happy that she was able to accommodate my request for 1 table leg. I have just completed the order at minimum cost and await delivery. So I believe by Monday I'll be able to finish my project which has still come in budget despite having to buy another leg. I would highly recommend this company for their professionalism and understanding and a great selection of out of the ordinary furniture fittings. Thank you!!!

The quality of casting is terrible. I'm not sure "antique finish" should be the same as unusable, but there you go. Apparently postage costs are my expense (both ways) even though the castings are not fit for purpose, so no value in returning for a refund. Lesson learned!

Ordered some 8” inverted shelf brackets. Ordered Sunday and they arrived on Tuesday.
These brackets are just what I was looking for. They are hand made just like they would have been 100+ years ago. They are truly awesome and such a good price. I did not expect any screws. However I really need to buy myself some slotted dome heads in black to match the style I’m looking for.
Overall they are a great product that will last for years to come 😃

I dont often write reviews but feel the need to spell out the quality of the cast iron products. They are thick, heavy with great craftsmanship. A little like the way things were made years ago.

Having read the reviews for this company I was totally confident ordering my shelving brackets however my confidence was sadly misplaced. Out of the 8 brackets I ordered, 6 haven't been made at a 90 degree angle and the accompanying screws are all odd. I have tried to contact the company but unfortunately it's just an answer machine and email so this review is my way of letting the company know I'm disappointed !!

I had an enquiry regarding hardware, and Wood n Wax were fast to respond, and very helpful.

I've just received my order from them, via tracked DHL courier, and couldn't be happier.

The customer service and quality of product is a refreshing change from how the world seems to be going.

I'd recommend Wood N Wax without reservation, and will be ordering all my hardware from there in the future.

I bought £100 worth of iron brackets but I was very disappointed with the bracket's quality and with Woodnwaxfurniture's return policy.

I had them installed in a kitchen shelf (6.7 Kg), but it was wobbly so I had more the solid brackets installed. To shelves in bathroom builders had to add industrial adhesive to pin brackets to the wall as fittings weren't good enough. Finally, brackets were not straight (90 degrees), so builders had to hammer them into shape.

When I contacted Woodnwaxfurniture about a refund for the brackets I hadn't used, I was told a 25% "re stocking charge" (whatever that means) would be deducted from refunds over 14 days (it was just 3 weeks after delivery, but I'd only used them 2 days earlier, I was doing a whole house renovation!). When I further asked about process for refunds he didn't even reply.

Overall a bad experience with the product and the company. Sad to experience this with a small independent business, which I like to support.

Absolutely wonderful company. Fire surrounds are out of this world. Absolutely beautiful.
