I can't recommend Woolton Carpets…

I can't recommend Woolton Carpets enough.

Had 3 different jobs done (2 rooms laminated and one vinyl roll) and I can honestly say its some of the best workmanship I have ever had done in a property. They were reliable even though it was a drive to get to mine (i'm not based in the Merseyside area) and they were professional throughout.

Thank you to the team. Already planning to get them out to do my next decorating project.

★☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointed – Persistent Odor and No Support

I purchased a carpet from this store and have been dealing with a terrible smell ever since. Every time I open the door to the room where the carpet is placed, a strong, unpleasant odor hits immediately. I expected a new carpet to freshen up the space, but instead it has made the room almost unusable.

I contacted the company to report the issue, hoping for assistance or at least some guidance, but they have been completely unhelpful. They showed no willingness to investigate the problem or offer any kind of solution.

I’m extremely disappointed with both the product and the customer service. I would not recommend buying a carpet from this store unless you’re prepared to deal with issues on your own.

Recommend Woolton carpets unreservedly

We have recently had carpets supplied for two properties. The latter was a large apartment. Throughout, the staff at Woolton carpets have been absolutely amazing. They were a pleasure to deal with and the carpets were very good value and quality. The fitters were really nice and very efficient - even when removing and supplying a large carpet for a fourth floor apartment! I could not recommend this company enough.

Exceptional Service

Been using this shop for 11 yrs. They have just replaced my flooring in lounge and hall after ripping up water damaged carpet & cusion flooring. The men (Wade & his granddad, sorry forgot name) could not have been more pleasant & helpful. They happily moved all items & put back. I would not go to any other shop for flooring. All staff, including Steve who measured up, were very efficient. Many thanks and kind regards.

Damaged my house then shouted on the phone.

Rude and unprofessional. No clue about health and safety or customer service.

The man who came to measure up for my new carpets tripped on the bottom stair (there was no carpet, just bare wood). He broke his ankle and my hallway radiator located at the bottom of the stairs. It was horrific. An ambulance came and took him to hospital. I only discovered the radiator was broken the next morning when the heating had been off all night and I found that the valve had snapped and water had leaked out under the floorboards. THe radiator fixings had pulled off the wall but it was still upright. No one had noticed as the main concern was the poor chap with the broken ankle. The next day I notified Woolton Carpets about the broken radiator. I was given the name of a plumber to stop the immediate leak so I could put the heating on again. Subsequently, when ringing back to talk about the radiator the Manager accused me of making it up. I asked a friend to deal with it (he is an NHS doctor and used to dealing with emergencies) and I could hear the manager shouting at him on the phone. Extremely unprofessional - rude and aggressive behaviour. Avoid these cowboys at all costs.

If I could give minus stars I would

If I could give minus stars I would, fitter was extremely rude to my mum, a pensioner that lives on her own.
The fitter has no manners, he was aggressive in his manner which was extremely intimidating.
My mum called the manager as the floor , to say the least was an absolute mess, not only that when the fitter left she noticed that the screen on her television had been cracked by the fitter.
The manager said that he would call round to view the floor and the damaged television, the manager did not come as he said, he did however send a co worker.
It was agreed that the floor was not fitted to a good standard and this was amended.
The fitter is denying smashing the television and the manager believes that he is not liable.
Avoid this company at all costs, they have no morals or manners, disgrace

Perfect and quick

We went into Woolton carpets chose what we wanted within days it was measured up and fitted, the fitter were very professional, they are coming back to do some other rooms now, highly recommended.

Fantastic customer service

We had vynil flooring fitted in our living room to replace laminate flooring , the vynil flooring was lower than the laminate, the stair carpet was shorter on the last step into the living room , we got in touch with woolton carpets to see if they still sold the stair carpet , we only needed a small amount of carpet to carpet the last step on the stairs to meet the new Vynil flooring , the staff in Woolton carpets were amazing they got in touch with the carpet rep and managed to get a piece of carpet to carpet the last step of the stairs , carpet was ordered and fitted all within a week , cannot praise Woolton carpets enough , customer service absolutely fantastic , thanks guys for a great smooth service , Paula and Mick

Superb customer care

Superb customer care . Fantastic showroom with lots of choice . Everyone was so helpful and fitters did a superb job. Can’t recommend highly enough .

Appauling customer service

Appauling customer service. Made me feel undervalued as a customer. Even expected a deposit to secure a home visit for measuring up. How they get sales I have no idea as they are not cheap! Steer clear.

Would not recommend at all

Would not recommend at all.

Shocking customer service. Ordered laminate flooring and took the exact measurements to the shop so we could get it an accurate measurement from day one. Was told how much was needed and was advised that someone would come to the house to see the state of the existing flooring (wooden and carpet) and if any other work would have to be done in advance. The date came for the fitters to come and fit the flooring and no one had been to the house before hand. Fitters immediately said that the floor they had was not enough, the wooden floor would have to be removed (no mention of this before...) and that we would now need to remove the wooden floor to see how much work was needed as well as an additional £500 for plywood to get the carpet flooring in a decent state to lay the laminate floor.

Called them to organise a refund and got originally told that there was no refunds. When we insisted we then received a call to say that we would only get £600 out of the original £700 we paid. We are now waiting for them to sell the floor which we originally ordered so we can get a full refund.

In a nutshell the service was shocking and they still want to profit £100...
