Wordcatcher Publishing ceased trading…

Wordcatcher Publishing ceased trading in 2022. It was a tough decision, but personal issues and the effects of the lockdown played their part.

Thanks to all the great authors we've worked with, and the fantastic readers who bought our books.

A publisher like no other

A publisher like no other. For novice authors like me it has been of enormous help, not only in the preparation of my work for publication, but also the expert advice on how publishing works and how best to harness marketing to aid sales. Wordcatcher may well be unique in the way it befriends authors as well as undertaking so efficiently the mechanics of publishing.

My experience as an author with…

My experience as an author with Wordcatcher has been straight AAAA's all the way. The company offers a level of support quite unlike any other publisher whom I have connected with in the past. I look forward to a long and successful career with Wordcatcher.

car park benefits

From our meeting at a car park ticket machine to 18 months and 5 books later this has been a journey of astonishment. I've worked with publishers all over the world and this is the first time I've encountered such ongoing commitment to me as an author. I say ongoing because Wordcatcher's interest and investment in me hasn't stopped with the publication of the books. One comes by the sense that Wordcatcher's is a co-operative endeavour.

A straight forward company

A straight forward, honest publisher who makes sure you get your book out there looking good. David is a pleasure to work with. He encourages those he deals with to produce the best work they can. And above all he reminds us it's all fun.

Supportive and professional

David was instrumental in the publishing of both editions of my book 17 Days, which is the true story of my son's fight against cancer. This was an emotional period for me and David was supportive and professional throughout. I would recommend Wordcatcher Publishing to anyone who is looking to self publish.

I first met David about two and a half…

I first met David about two and a half years ago when he gave myself and my co-author Nigel Williams advice regarding the self publication of our crime thriller series 'The Terry McGuire Thrillers'
I found him to be very amiable and passionate about writing.
In May this year I met him for the second time, as a result he agreed to publish two of my poetry books 'An Industry now lost'' and 'Poems for a lost generation'
I can only describe him as genuine, passionate, experienced in the world of publishing and the most important trait honesty.
I am looking forward to working with him in the future...Watch this space.

Supporting a new author

I would not have had three children’s books published without the encouragement of the staff at Wordcatcher. I was ignorant of the publishing process and I had a lot to learn, but was guided patiently and professionally to seeing my first book in print. Two more books have followed with the same professional support and I am forever grateful to Wordcatcher Publishing for being instrumental in this achievement.

Brilliant Publishers.

Wordcatcher Publishing has published two of my books & is now helping me with a third. This third book is proving tricky & I am being personally guided & helped along the way. It is a very emotive book & I have found it difficult to manage any negativity towards the topic. Wordcatcher has encouraged me to keep writing & to be strong. I feel not only does Wordcatcher support me but also pushes me to be a more confident writer. I cannot imagine any other publisher giving me the personal support & encouragement I have so far received.

Excellent

David has been encouraging, professional and just generally brilliant throughout the publishing process. He's honest and plain speaking both in his praise and constructive criticism and happy to guide you through suggested changes in your text or illustrations. Also, considering his work load, I'm amazed he always makes time to answer my messages promptly and to see me in person and I have never felt hurried out of the office. I would whole heartedly recommend wordcatcher publishing to everyone without a second thought.

A publisher with integrity

I have worked with Wordcatcher since its inception. I have published three books so far, with a fourth due out this autumn. Covers were designed in-house, with which I was delighted, and I found the putting together of the books to be a very rewarding and satisfactory experience, during which I gained a great deal of valuable knowledge about what is required in this process. I have found that I am completely able to trust the personnel at Wordcatcher and, perhaps most of all, the knowledge that my work is valued and treated with respect, has been, and continues to be, something rare which I am very grateful to have found.

David Norrington has published three…

David Norrington has published three books for me and is in the process of editing a fourth. He gives me honest feedback and encouragement, and to have him working on all things book-related - areas that I am completely ignorant about, is wonderful. He takes all of the stress out of the technicalities involved. As a relatively new author, his experience is invaluable and I look forward to continue working with him.
