If I could give 0 stars I would. Just encountered the worst customer service experience ever. The ignorance of the person representing Worldline was beyond your belief. It happens when 1 company has the monopoly. Unfortunately if you want to continue to use any creditcard in Belgium you have no other option then to go through Worldline. They record the conversations, I truly hope someone will listen to the one I just had and uses it as an example of how you do not respond to a cliënt.

When Worldline took over Bambora, things went downhill fast. You have to fill out incredibly onerous, complex, difficult, confusing forms that are impossible to understand to "insure compliance". This is called "Worldline Payment Guard". I call the help number. It says "welcome to the rewards center" (excuse me? Whatever). "Press 1 for English." I press 1. Disconnected, Try again, again disconnected. Grrrrr. So I call the general customer service line for Worldline. Nice person, but even after 30 minutes on the phone with her, I still cannot fill it out or understand the long, long form (and I don't think she can either). Then they say they want me to perform a security scan of my websites every 3 months. This is insane.

The representative sent me on a wild goose chase to update my agreement, when the agreement was already in place.
They could not give me an answer to if it was OK, even though I asked them to check. Everybode you talk to seems very incompetent, and they like to put the blame on the costumer, even when you prove them wrong.
if you can avoid them, all the better.

SIAMO FINALMENTE LIBERI.
A company that no one should be a customer of.
Stay away, they are miserable people who promise services and do not deliver. They forced us to cancel the POS by making us make a request using a form, the order to collect the POS at the company was given 30 days after receiving the form, organizing the collection of the machine within another 30 days, to date, after a further 40 days, the collection has not taken place BUT IN THE MEANTIME THEY CHARGED 3 fees, miserable behavior, we still obtained the closure of the current account by withdrawing all our money, avoiding the leeches from charging you other fees. WE ARE FINALLY FREE.
Should be a no stars review. Paid two significant hotel bills in Slovenia by John Lewis Partnership card. Currency Euros.
On checking the receipts, handed to me AFTER each transaction, I noted that a hefty 3.5% mark up had been added to the currency exchange rate. This resulted in a significant and unlawful additional charge to which I had not agreed and which was not notified to me until after the transaction when I received a receipt.
The receipt included the words "3.5% mark up included in the exchange rate. I have been offered a choice of currencies and accept the final amount in transaction currency". I did not accept the final amount because I was not aware of it until I had paid the invoices and left the premises, i.e. after the conclusion of the contract.
I request reimbursement and an explanation from Worldline.
Contractual terms cannot be retrospectively imposed.
The invoice issuers and John Lewis Financial Services have confirmed that they did not add the surcharge.

I am a client since more than 10 years. Called today to Worldline, because I want to stop with eurocards. Last 45 minutes I received 4 different telephonenumbers. Now the 4th number waiting for 20 min. now. Worldline don’t ‘recognize’ me. Name, adres, terminalnumber, TAVnumber, etcetera. I am unknown……
I called today:09002265797, 09000400182, 003227277000, 00322727278899, 0180442442 they all don't know me...

Absolute worse, Anz uses them in Australia now and ever since the switch have been the most useless payment processor and the eftpos terminals got a massive downgrade when it went to them. I cancelled them last year and moved to another provider yet have been charged every month the terminal rental fees across 3 businesses for over 10 terminals after already returning them all last year and after calling 3 different times over 5 months am still getting charged despite 3 cases lodged. Will be lodging report with AFCA if not sorted this time around

It's incredible how incompetent their customer service people are. I have a Mastercard operated through KBC by this company and one, their English speaking employees don't actually speak English and after rudely talking to you they just hang up. This just happened just now and I'm still in shock how much of an incompetent employee I had on the line

As a former employee of one of Worldline's subsidiaries, Payone, where I started my journey back in 2016, I recently took to the Trustpilot platform to share my experiences. Read it below under username "JL". I'm genuinely overwhelmed to witness Trustpilot's commitment to content integrity and valuing the voices of us small individuals. Despite Worldline's attempts to have my review dated 5th March 2024 removed, Trustpilot stood firm, allowing my voice to be heard because the facts were true.
My concern has only grown as I've observed the emergence of many many negative reviews surrounding Worldline, particularly as some of them echo my own encounters during my tenure at their subsidiary Payone. My roles involved managing accounts for large-scale merchants like Foot Locker, overseeing payment operations across more than 120 stores including Germany. Additionally, I had the privilege of supporting micro-businesses such as "Hair @22," a delightful small hairdresser's in Somerset UK (all publicly available information).
If you are struggling in these scenarios with Worldline/Payone check out some of the help offered on Loopline media who can help educate you on payments, without any disclosure of confidential information from my experiences at Payone. My free upcoming news articles may help educate you in payments, so as to avoid getting into difficult situations with card payments, before it is too late;
My passion truly lies in championing smaller enterprises run by everyday individuals, usually with small families, whose very livelihoods rely on the smooth transactions facilitated by companies like Worldline and Payone. It's disheartening to learn of instances, like the one detailed in a recent review, where a former Payone AG merchant IT Maker GmbH (Payone AG client before the Worldline joint venture), a small pizza joint, found itself embroiled in legal battles with Worldline due to payment processing billing issues.
Just imagine the wasted time, the hurt and pain and anxiety of having to take your payments company to court, this would have been unimaginable when you signed the papeprwork right?!
Much of the information shared here is readily accessible, whether through Loopline Media or a simple Google search using terms like "Worldline Bafin" and "Payone BAFIN."
Trustpilot's role in amplifying our voices cannot be overstated. Without Trustpilot, many of these complaints would remain silenced, leaving small merchants feeling isolated and overwhelmed by what can seem like insurmountable challenges.
As Worldline grapples with a staggering 91% poor review rating, it's evident that change is not only necessary but imperative. Competitors like Mollie 79% "excellent" and Fiserve at 84% "Excellent" demonstrate the gap in this context. To borrow from the timeless wisdom of Spiderman, "with great power comes great responsibility", so plenty of work for Worldline to do to improve but it can be achieved!
Impossible to fill in all the requirements. Now that I read the reviws, I am very hkad it failed!!

Would give zero stars if possible. BUSINESS OWNERS WATCH OUT! Don't use this companies' services!
THIS COMPANY STEALS YOUR MONEY! After three years of small business ownership I started to check if the money from my customers actually made it to my bank account and was shocked to find random transactions to have disappeared from the system.
The terminal does not always give you the correct numbers when you have it print out the totals of the day. (To check, you can print doubles of every ticket you give to a customer.) I found out on some days there was up to 60% of my turnover missing! And on some days where the correlation between the double tickets and the terminals report was actually correct, Only part of that amount was transferred to my bank.
On the regular, but sometimes with intervals of months, there was money missing. Emailed them, they sent their overview and I had twice as much transaction tickets than they had transactions. After this they stopped replying to my mails. Talked to many local business owners about it and they confirmed my story to have happened to them as well. My Bank (@KBC-Belgium) is utterly aware of the problem because many of their professional customers came to them with these problems. And they still recommend and sell the Worldline Atos products to their clients.

Would put ZERO Stars if I could.
They cause massive problems and never care about resolving any of it. They simply do NOT care and have zero ownership of their own mistakes

Having spoken to Worldline 4 times to enable a payment to Amazon that they kept stopping, with the 4th occasion worldline phoning me back to guarantee the payment would pass., I’m still in a position where my order remains unpaid on my KBC Creditcard.
I have tried to resolve this with a fifth call to Worldline, on to find they don’t work from Saturday evening until Monday.
Personally I would recommend not using a creditcard service that uses Worldline
Cancelled our subscription years ago, but out of the blue they are sending an invoice again. Called them 4 times already. Nice people on the phone and they all agree that the invoice is not correct, but the backoffice keeps sending reminders.
very unhelpful when there is fraud on the card.
I called them to report a fraudulent payment. They said that on their website you make a claim/ chargeback but there is no where on their website to do it. Finally managed whole process takes 6 months
Ik werk voor atos worldline already four years now and I enjoy the time to get some clients on the phone to solve the issue of them somebody have hack my phone number and are busy to destroy my life I love my work and will be there for Manny years if possible
I applied online with all information needed. I started the endless waiting. I asked the service team what happened with my order, they said it was on hold in the system, i need to upload more documents. If I don’t contact them, no one will let me know.
The eftpos came in with the delivery man on the 30th August, he taught me how to use it and found out, refund function has been rejected because I had an outstanding unpaid money to them( $200 because they deliver it to me at the last day of August, then I need to pay $200 to them). I called again to the service team, no one knows what happens. They said they can see the invoice from their system but I never receive any mail or email about the invoice. I want to pay but how can I pay?! The most ridiculous thing is, the eftpos can’t tap, can't insert, can't swipe. It means, it’s nothing. No refund, no tap, no insert, no swipe, no contact, no email, no mail.
Now I want to cancel the service, no one reply my phone. It’s totally a joke. Waste time!
This company is a catastrophy, non existing customer service, doesn't reply to emails nor phone!
This company is a scam. Dont use them. 1,5% on new deal when we had deal on 0,27%. No deal!!!!
