Very Happy

I was a little nervous reading the reviews after I had ordered (I know...!) but had a really good service and as promised next working day delivery. I ordered 6 stools, came as self assembly via DPD and had no issues at all. I didn't get my payment receipt for a few hours which made me worry, but I had a call back from them in response to my voicemail and was reassured that all was well.

Three reviews below mirror my experience. Marked as In stock, took money, month later heard nothing. Don’t respond to emails or answer the phone.

As per other poster - I fear I will have to start a charge back request.

Their website misleads

Their website misleads. I don’t trust them. They state an item is in stock & they advertise free next delivery. We ordered 3 bar stools, payment was processed but when they didn’t arrive after 2 days we checked the order & it said ‘pending’. We emailed to ask why & were told the website stated it was a “pre-order” (no it didn’t) & wouldn’t be available for despatch until at least mid May or even later. Yet when we checked the website again it still said the item was in stock. Steer clear of this company.

AVOID- Items ordered an no comms of any kind!

VERY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE. Ordered 2 White Lucca barstools on around 29th March 2021. Barstools were showing as in stock on 31st March. It is now the 13th April and still had no communication from the seller not even a confirmation email. The barstools are still showing as due to be in stock on 31st March on the website. Have tried to contact through the website and had no reply. Called the office which just goes straight to voicemail. I would include my order number here but no comms from seller to even upload!

I know its during covid and things are delayed but some sort of update would have really been appreciated. Corona virus shouldn't make it ok to ignore your genuine customers. Have had no choice but to open a paypal dispute in order to get our money back.

I see the seller has responded to other bad reviews so hoping this will nudge them into sorting it for us. Never written a trustpilot review before but i hope this counts as a warning for others thinking of purchasing

AVOID!

AVOID!! ordered 3 cream stools however received 2 cream and one white. After returning the white one Tracey apologised and promised to send the correct cream coloured stool.
The stool arrived and was again white!!
Tracey apologised and promised again to send a cream one.
This time the most knackered , scuffed, damaged cream stool arrived, it was an embarrassment to say the least! Tracey apologised (again) and promised a refund. This didn’t arrive for over 3 weeks! I certainly wouldn’t recommend this outfit , what they advertise is not what they have in stock, also poor quality squeaky stools. Let’s see what they have to say about this........

Thank you for your feedback and I would firstly like to apologise on the experience you have received.

You are right, it is an embarrassment and there is no excuse for the buying experience you received. This should not have happened!

Be assured that I have had a lengthy meeting with our warehouse manager and warehouse operative staff about your complaint and will be getting to the bottom of this issue. In the meantime, I have put new training measures in place in regards to stock rotation and quality control to try and avoid this situation from ever happening again.

Please accept my sincerest apologies for this complaint. If we can ever try & redeem your faith in our company, and you were looking at placing an order in the future, I would personally like to process this myself.

Excellent Customer Service

I bought 6 stools online. I was surprised when they arrived 2 working days after I placed the order which was very good.

One of them had a faulty thread on a screw hole and we couldn´t assemble it properly. I emailed their customer service with photos of the issue, which replied to my email on the same day with options for the replacement of the stool.

Again, 2 working days later, I had the replacement delivered with the apologies from their customer service for the issue.

Excellent customer service is not about lack of issues arising. Good customer service is how companies react when issues arise. And this experience has been exactly what Excellent customer service should look like. Would buy from them again.

Items shown as in stock but clearly aren’t …

We ordered 3 stools on Nov 17th as website indicated that items were in stock. Only update has been given when I have chased and I was told that items need to be shipped into the UK and not due in until mid December. Mid December arrived and no delivery. Contacted company again and was told it would now be end December. The date just keeps on moving, with no direct updates from their customer services. Web site should not show stock avail for next day delivery as this is clearly not the case, shocking behaviour at a time when people are clearly worried about bigger things happening. I would advise to call and check stock before you order.

Thank you for your message and I am very sorry you feel you have had a bad buying experience.

At the point of your purchase of the American diner bar stool in black, it was advised on the product page, under 'Availability' that for this model 'Pre Order Now! Due In 21st Dec'. The reason we know this is because we had many pre orders for the same model & colour which were placed before your order was taken. Because this is advised before the point of sale/any monies being taken, we do not contact customers, the order is then added automatically to our pre order list and the order is dispatched as soon as the goods are readily available.

Due to the global pandemic, it is testing times for everyone and for a company which imports goods, proving tricky to get deliveries in on time. I can see there was a slight delay in getting the ordered goods to us, we received the container holding your order in on Wednesday 6th January, and we dispatched your order the very same day. After looking at the tracking of your order, I can see that delivery took place on Thursday 07th January at 12:21. As we have not heard from you since you took delivery, we can only assume that all is well with your order.

Again I want apologise that you feel you have had a negative buying experience with us and would like to thank you for choosing World of Bar Stools for your purchase.

GREAT COMPANY TO DEAL WITH.

Bought several bar stools having used this company for bar stools previously.the order came promptly and we were very pleased with quality and price...one stool had a weld failure after 1 month and customer services sorted problem to our complete satisfaction within 2 days!.....they even have a human at the end of a telephone!....highly recommended company for lots of reasons .

Poor customer service

My experience

Monday, evening ordered two bar stools, web page stated two in stock and promised next day delivery.

Tuesday, nothing arrived

Wednesday, nothing arrived

Thursday called World of Bar Stools and was advised that they only had one in stock and the line had been discontinued. They offered a mix and match, not acceptable. I questioned why they had taken the payment when they didn’t have the goods and I was advised “that was the system” Offered a refund. They were unsure as to when I would have been advised of the unavailability if I had not called World of Barstools.

Following Tuesday, made a further phone call asking when I might expect a refund and advised it would be processed that afternoon

Thursday, refund appeared in my account

Summary, they can take a payment for goods they don’t have immediately but take 7 day to process an appropriate refund.

Thank you for your feedback and firstly I would like to apologise on the experience you have received.

After getting all the info of your buying experience, it seems that at the point of sale our stock system was showing 2 in stock when in fact we only had 1 available, hence why the order was able to go through and payment to taken. For this we can only apologise. In regards to the refund we always advise of a time frame of 3-5 working days for it to be processed, which in this case, has fallen within the advised time.

I have forwarded your review to our general manager so this can be looked into and hopefully we can avoid this from happening again in the future.

Good quality and an excellent price for a lovely product.

The stools we chose and ordered were unfortunately out of stock. The company informed us immediately and offered us the chance to select a different style, receive a refund or wait 3 to 4 weeks for them to come back into stock. We chose the latter and well within that time the delivery company informed us of our delivery slot. We are delighted with the product and the service and information we received. We shopped around a lot before choosing these stools and are very pleased. Good quality and an excellent price for a lovely product.

Perfect friendly customer service 5* plus

Perfect friendly customer service. If this is your everyday service you have a lot you could offer other companies in the way of customer service. My stools are Amazing! Nothing to fault.

My stools did arrived as predicted packaged well with no damage.

There was a fixings bag that had got pierced at some point you could hardly see when I checked a bolt screw was missing and a loose washer was in the box, I thought Oh no there's going to be trouble getting a replacement. I called the company and was greeted with a very friendly lady. I explained my problem, she said no problem we'll send you a new one.

Thinking it could be about a week before I could put my second chair together I was amazed! a whole new fixing pack arrived by lunch time the very next day. I really wasn't expecting it so soon. Just brilliant customer service. You read so many reviews were people can't get replacement bits and wait forever alongside many a phone call chasing their problem up but my replacement bits arrived within 24 hours so thank you so so much I can't fault your effort

I needed a stool to use daily while crafting so needed a stool with extra comfort for hours of sitting. I had searched for hours to find the right ones with the colour I wanted. Although they haven't been put into practice yet, just sitting on them they feel firm, well padded but comfy. I can't wait to get crafting at my new craft table with my new stool. Colour is a subtle but light bright green, I love them. Thank you so much and I'm happy to recommend your company and buy another two when I can.

Fabulous

Purchased and delivered with speed and accuracy. Unfortunately little damage to item which was easily rectified with no quibbles and a replacement received the next day

5* Service!

I bought 8 chairs which are very comfortable and great value for money. There was a small problem with some tiny marks on a couple of the chairs but the company, in particular Tracey, dealt with this really promptly and to my complete satisfaction. Tracey arranged for replacements to come very quickly and with the minimum of trouble to me. A 5* service, would definitely recommend.

We purchased two bar stools and had a small concern over one of the stools, so we contacted World of Bar Stools. They asked for a picture of the matter that concerned us, which we emailed to them. Their customer service is excellent and the issue was dealt with immediately. We cannot fault the service we received and would recommend them and we will buy from them again.

Excellent service from World of Bar Stools.

I recently purchased 3 bar stools. Even from the onset the service was great and they delivered on time. When they arrived one was not entirely in order. These things happen and the test of a good company is how they react. They offered to provide the part of take the stool back. I decided to return the stool, they then asked when and as discussed the delivery company turned up. Within 2 days they had processed the refund. Things can go wrong but it is how we react that makes the difference. Well done.
