We spoke to Samuel today and he was extremely helpful. His phone manner was excellent and I really feel that he will see our issue all the way to a resolution
A MOSS.
Really friendly, and chatty. Made the experience really stress free & seamless. Especially because I was busy with clients.
:)
We had G Newbery, today for our second survey. Very professional, polite and knowledgeable made the whole process stress free.
We had a kitchen designed by Jakub at the Leicester branch, he was very patient and professional. My wife made multiple changes to the design over the course of a few months until she got it exactly how she wanted it, and I must say the kitchen is now fitted and looks fantastic. I fitted the kitchen myself and every piece of kit required was supplied as promised and the instruction bible that was sent with the kitchen was invaluable with access to easy to follow YouTube tutorials. All in all we had an excellent experience with Wren and would highly recommend.
J breaker was extremely friendly and got straight to work. Great experience
The surveyor was great he called an hour before and turned up as planned.
He was friendly and professional pointed out lots of possibilities.
Would highly recommend him.
Quick and efficient, explained what he had to do and answered a questions I had.
Couldn’t fault him.
Dave arrived on time was very helpful in answering our many queries and was done in less than half an hour.
Currently having the worst imaginable experience with Wren. Work on our kitchen has stopped mid-installation, we are living in a building site and we can get absolutely no resolution or answers from any of Wren’s teams despite daily contact and requests for updates.
The issue is because it’s a small terraced house, larger parts need to go over our back garden wall. Wren were well aware of this throughout, but did not communicate this to the delivery drivers or make the necessary arrangements. So now, delivery has been refused on three occasions for the worktop, the fridge freezer and its tower unit. Our original fitters were only available for the planned week and are unable to return once we eventually have the rest of the parts.
The three parts have now been split into three separate deliveries needed - the fridge freezer from Beko, the worktop, the tower unit flat-packed separately. Apparently they can’t possibly come at the same time, like they did in the original delivery attempt. What Wren have said they will do is arrange for new fitters to be there to assist with moving the parts into the house when possible. When this will be, we don’t know - we are worried it could be more weeks or even months as fitters are busy this time of year. And given the multiple issues we’ve had with all these deliveries, I’m not confident that Wren are going to arrange for the three deliveries to come on the same day/time - we anticipate further issues, and further unwillingness from their delivery teams.
We also had an issue with their waste collection of the old kitchen. They left the old fridge and freezer in the garden because they “weren’t on the list” (?) And when we have asked for them to arrange for these to be collected too, along with the rest of the waste when the kitchen is finally finished, again no answer. And if you can believe it, on the most recent delivery attempt, they scratched our car with the truck. So we are now having to go through an insurance claim process, to add to the stress.
What’s perhaps most upsetting is we had saved up for 4 years and were so excited to have our lovely much-needed new kitchen, for it to turn into this nightmare. If we had some sort of clarity or an end date for this that would be something, the uncertainty is the most stressful part.
The showroom staff do not want to know, ignore emails and texts and have even been belligerent on the phone saying “we’ve done all we can do”. Customer service palm us off and tell us to wait for updates that are never forthcoming, and the customer installation team tell us they are looking into it but weeks are going by with no updates.
As it stands, it’s been more than two weeks without a kitchen, cooking facilities or downstairs water. We cannot eat proper food - only ready meals and milk that we have to buy daily or they will spoil, or takeaways. Thank goodness we don’t have children because we wouldn’t be able to feed them. The house is a mess, we don’t know who will be finishing the kitchen and when, and when we will have to stay home from work to accommodate this taking place. Our lives are on hold and we are in the dark, only to be treated with indifference by Wren. We can only conclude that they absolutely do not care about their customers once we have signed away thousands of pounds of our hard-earned money.
Please sort this out.
