In the beginning things were great- during the design process we were told that any moving of sockets, plumbing, etc would be covered in the costs. We thought we got a great deal.......up until the sub-contracted company turned up that would be doing the fitting. Imagine our surprise when we found out we had an additiona £4,000 bill as nothing was covered in the purchase of the kitchen. We had to pay for plumbing, electrics, gas relocation (even a new fuse box as it was not compliant). We could not have some of the items in the kitchen where planned and designed as it would not 'work'. We had no option but to pay the bill as we had already commited to half of the cost of the kitchen.
The fitters then arrived (I must say the carpenter was amazing) however the lack of respect by the electricians meant that the house was turned upside down, dirty walls, carpets, etc. A lightswitch was relocated and they took half of the wall out with it!!!!
One of the units was not correct so once installation was finished we had to wait another week for this to arrive and be fitted (after we continuously chased it ourselves). Then it was fitted and damaged in 2 places quite significantly. It has now taken 2 weeks for this to be actioned and only one part has been ordered, due to be delivered next week, but there has been no communication on the other part.
No one seems to want to have a conversation with me about it. I have requested contact with the aftercare team on several occassions and have not been contacted.
The whole experience has been dreadful and expensive. I would tell anyone looking to go to Wren- AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
UPDATE:
After another 2 weeks of waiting for the part, being delivered and then the fitter coming out- the wrong part was ordered!!
Now the fitter has had to reorder and I assume it will be another 2 weeks before delivered and for when the fitter can come back out .
My patience is being tested!

Very punctual! Were here just before allotted time and due to it being the early hours, they quietly waited till allowed time to start. Still exceptionally quiet, my neighbour slept through the delivery. All stored and checked off in the order my fitter required. Both Martin and James were professional at all times. And happy!

My experience with Wren Kitchens has been unacceptable from start to finish. From late deliveries and damaged parts to poor quality workmanship and a complete lack of communication, the entire process has been extremely frustrating. They offered compensation for their mistakes, yet even this has been mishandled. I was first issued a cheque that bounced, and now the promised bank transfer has still not been received. This situation has been ongoing since September and remains unresolved. The level of incompetence and disregard shown throughout is shocking. I would not recommend Wren Kitchens based on my experience.

First impressions last and as the planner didn’t bother to turn up online nor call until I chased them this said enough to me.
Then the planner became all pushy on the phone.

This has been, without exaggeration, the worst home-improvement experience I have ever had. We paid nearly £11,000 expecting a premium product — what we received instead was a collection of poorly fitting, badly finished and in several cases damaged components that bear no resemblance to the quality Wren advertises.
From day one, nothing fitted properly. The “made-to-measure” filler panels were not made to measure at all — every single one required cutting, trimming or reshaping. This created ongoing delays and forced us to spend extra money on labour for modifications that should never have been needed. A premium kitchen should fit, not require the installer to rebuild half of it.
The gaps in the kitchen are unacceptable and honestly embarrassing. One of the most shocking examples is the almost 4 cm gap under the oven shelf — a manufacturing and design failure that no serious company should ever allow to leave their factory. Several doors arrived damaged. Basic finishing items were missing, including simple screw caps. Even the colour of the accessories was wrong: our cabinet carcasses are white, yet we were sent dark grey cover caps, making the kitchen look mismatched and cheap.
Let me be very clear: what Wren sells in the showroom is not what you receive at home.
And here is the most painful part:
Wickes, although slightly more expensive, is FAR more cost-effective.
Their kitchens fit straight out of the box — no endless modifications, no trimming every panel, no bizarre gaps, no damaged fronts, no missing parts. What you pay for at Wickes is what you actually get: proper quality, consistent colour finishes, parts that align, and a kitchen that looks complete without having to fight the product for three weeks.
With Wren, the “cheaper” price is an illusion.
By the time you pay for all the extra labour, fixes, adjustments and corrections to their mistakes, you end up spending more — and on a kitchen that is nowhere near the standard you were promised.
Wickes delivers quality.
Wren delivers problems.
After this experience, I can say with 100% confidence that I would never recommend Wren Kitchens to anyone. The stress, wasted time and additional costs have been unbelievable, and no customer spending this kind of money deserves to receive such poor workmanship.
Avoid Wren Kitchens. Absolutely not worth the money.
Answer:
Thank you for your reply. I would like to correct some of the information you provided:
The side panels for the island were supposed to be made to size, not oversized and cut on site. This was clearly stated during the design process.
There are missing cover panels for the lower cabinet.
There is a visible 3 cm gap under the oven, which should not be there.
The kickboard trim was not supplied at all.
Several shelves arrived damaged, and I am still waiting for a response from the head office regarding replacements.
The worktop was delivered damaged, and this was also supposed to be custom-sized, not something cut incorrectly on site.
I already had fitters booked for the worktop installation, and I could not ask them to leave and wait for Wren’s long approval process. Because of this, I was forced to install the damaged worktop to avoid further delays and additional costs.
The screw cover caps were supplied in completely insufficient quantity — I received around 10, but I need at least 25.
Wren also provided a heat-activated edging tape in a dark graphite colour, which does not match the kitchen and cannot be used to cover cut edges.
The cabinet above the fridge should have been fitted with lift-up telescopic hinges for proper functionality. Instead, standard side hinges were supplied, making the cabinet difficult to use. This was never discussed or flagged by the designer.
It would be greatly appreciated if this whole process could be significantly accelerated. I have now been waiting for over three weeks to complete and assemble my kitchen, but instead of finishing it, I am still waiting for missing parts, replacements, and answers. This delay is unnecessary and extremely frustrating.
All of these issues were known to the fitters during installation, so it is not correct to say that nothing was reported earlier.
I hope the management team will now review this properly and finally provide a clear and practical solution.
