Lewis is a very helpful & patient driving instructor making me feel relaxed throughout my lessons.
Coming from Thailand only 5 years ago made it a bit more difficult to learn to drive here in the uk but I managed to pass my test the 1st time so a big thank you to WrightStart.

It’s really just one and a half months since I started. Thank you, Lewis, for the driving lessons. You are very good and use BSL on a normal basis, which makes it easy. I am still learning, but I’m happy to have passed.

I started learning with Lewis from WrightStart in January and passed my practical test in April, having never driven before. My lessons were always professional and informative. Lewis is incredibly patient and exceptionally good at what he does. The electric Mini was a lovely car to learn in, and Lewis was always extremely helpful—not just with driving, but also with advice on buying and insuring my first car. I couldn’t recommend WrightStart enough. Thank you so much!

From my very first lesson till the end Lewis, made my driving experience comfortable. I would highly recommend Wright Start. With Lewis's help I have successfully passed my driving test 1st time.

Just passed my test with 3 minors and would 100% recommend WrightStart. I teach adults for a living and so I was quite picky when choosing an instructor. My instructor exceeded my expectations, he really knows how to teach. His feedback on my driving throughout was just right, he helped me build my confidence and didn't overwhelm me with criticisms, I always knew what to focus on next. I also always felt safe and respected as a young woman, something which sadly isn't always the case. He was always on time, always professional, and very patient and understanding. The electric Mini is also a piece of cake to drive!

Straight from the beginning I could tell lewis was a good chap, he eased my nervous from lesson 1 and ever since looked forward for my next lesson. The app to download is fantastic as you can track your own progress through the different stages, after every lesson and lewis is fantastic at making sure this is done for you to review at home. His passion and patients is brilliant, and never in my lessons did I feel pressured or confused as he always made sure I understood everything i did in my lesson before i left the car. If your looking for a driving instructor I strongly suggest you consider Wrightstart as they made my journey fast and enjoyable especially because we could talk about cars!

i am deaf. i passed 1st time with lewis. lewis is very deaf aware and can also use BSL. he is a great driving instructor and i highly recommend him to all people hearing and deaf. thank you lewis

Lewis is a fantastic instructor, he has taught me everything I needed to know for both theory and practical and gave me plenty of opportunities to correct and learn from my mistakes on the road.

I very highly recommend WrightStart. After failing to pass the test a couple of times (with other schools) in the past, I was anxious about trying again. However, Lewis is an excellent instructor with a patient and informative style. With his help things finally fell into place and driving became intuitive, rather than just a set of processes. Thank you again for the giving me the knowledge and confidence to get that pass!

Having moved from the USA, I was a bit nervous about driving in the UK, especially roundabouts and driving on the left. My instructor Simon put me at ease and was very patient with me. The car was very comfortable with an easy to use satnav. The timeslot was adjusted to work with my part-time job. I would highly reccomend WrightStart based on my experience. I am so pleased to have passed today with only one minor.

I really enjoyed my time learning with WrightStart, my instructor was patient and kind despite my nerves and was really helpful during learning. The driving quality was of a very high standard, everything was explained well and re-explained well if not understood. The main goal was to be able to drive competently, not just pass the test. I never felt pressured by my instructor. Thank you!
