I'm nearly half way through a writing for children course with the Writers Bureau. It's very efficiently run and extremely interesting with excellent exercises to complete. Nothing too difficult to tackle. Helpful comments and advice from the tutor. Don't hesitate, if you're thinking of giving it a try.

During the time that I've been with The Writers Bureau my experience has been one of efficiency and friendliness. The response times are very good and the quality of the service I have experienced till now can only be commended. Well Done Writers Bureau!

Very educative course and I like the fact that I can go at my own pace

The Writers Bureau offer a comprehensive course that is effective at helping their students to profit from their writing. Their administrators are clearly concerned that students make good progress.

I haven't received the package yet but can read all material online and have just completed Assignment 4. I value the comments and criticisms of my tutor and will continue to completion of the course.

Four assignments in so far on the poetry course, and I'm finding it most enjoyable, instructive and motivating. The course materials are very detailed and, for someone new to serious contemporary poetry, full of surprises. Assignments are returned in good time wth apt tutor feedback both general and particular. The Writers' Bureau poetry course and me - a perfect fit! Highly recommended.

I am enjoying my course so much. I have a great tutor who responds quickly and whose opinion I value greatly.
There's no pressure, so you have time to work at your own pace and write the best you can. I have learnt so much and enjoy the challenges that some of the modules provide.

At 74 my passion for writing continued to occupy the pride of place in my mind. Having written and self published my autobiography: "Restored Hope" of 72 pages without writing experience, I signed-up for the comprehensive creative writing course with the Writers Bureau in March 2016 to hone my writing and place my passion for writing on good footing.
It has been a wonderful experience learning new things under three highly experienced tutors in sixteen months leading to the completion of the course and soon to be awarded diploma. In all, I had three articles published with only one rewarded.

The Writers Bureau website offers a good learning place while the students services department is doing a yeoman's job.
I salute the Director of Studies, Diana Nadin for the good job she is doing and assure her more Nigerian students will register with the Writers Bureau.

Nice and easy to deal with

I am studying a Full Stack Web Development course online and loving it. The support from the tutors and the Learning People is excellent and also the support from fellow students is very helpful too.

Only been with them a few months and already I have earned money from having a story published in a magazine and won a poetry competition.

Does what it claims to do. Stretching written exercises allied to first rate advice from your tutor. Well worth the money!

The tutor is very frank if i made mistakes either in spelling, grammar or plot of stories/articles & give a lot of positive comments. This is what i want so that i can be a good writer because English is not my mother-tongue. After submitting 7 assignments, i came across a lot of new techniques in writing. Currently, i am targeting our local publication Borneo Bulletin to have more of my articles published. I want to write different type of genre. I hope Writers Bureau will guide me towards achieving my passion to be a good author. I hope to write a novel and compile a collection of my short-stories which appeared in Borneo Bulletin between 2010 and 2014. it's been a long interesting walk,as I look back at where I was before now though I have had a background in writing.

I encourage myself to read and write though sometimes I want to be quiet and trans-out of my immidiate world but something jets me back into greater writing.

The writers bereau is awakening a deeper layer of writing in me
She makes me know and want to know more for writing makes you want to unravel the mystery behind a theme.

I started my course back in 2003 and had to abandon it due to work commitments and raising my young son - He's now sixteen! I was enjoying the course so much and had a very enthusiastic tutor who encouraged me to send my stories to magazines quite early on. I was soon published and have had a number of short stories printed in various periodicals since. I had a biography published only last year which I wrote for an African Politician. It's now for sale on Amazon. I have just started my remaining two assignments after all theses years!

The course was fabulous. It's great to be on the last leg after all this time. I have written three novels since my start with TWB and I'm now in pursuit of representation. Wish me luck.

I started my course in Jan so it's early days, however I have just had a letter published in a magazine. It was written as part of the second assignment. The tutor's feedback was excellent and she advised me to send the four letters that I wrote to the magazines. This has given me a great boost to up my game and do more writing.
