True peace of mind
After dealing with illness and injury, I found myself hopelessly in debt with the IRS. Like many others I had heard the commercials for different tax assistance companies, but I too was skeptical.

That sounds like a back-handed comment—anyone is easier to deal with than the IRS--but it's actually what I appreciated most about W Tax Group. Even routine communication with the IRS can be confusing, frustrating and stressful, all the more so when there saying you owe them money. The best of the best!!!! Stephen Weisberg and the entire team at W Tax Group took incredible care of me and my family during a very difficult time. I was skeptical but The W Is the Real Deal!
I was skeptical about all those tax firms on the radio promising me to settle my case for next to nothing eventhough I owed over $50k. So I called the IRS myself. Big mistake. They told me I had to pay $600 a month. They would not allow anything less. I have no idea how they got to that number but I couldnt come close to paying it. So I took a leap of fath and called Attorney Stephen Weisberg at The W Tax Group after I received his letter. To my surprise, The W Tax Group turned out to be the real deal! They negotiated a payment plan for me that was $100 a month and I'll never pay off anywhere close to the entire amount of the debt that I owe. The W Tax Group saved me a ton of money but I also was finally able to breathe again. I was so stressed about my taxes. Now I'm not. Bottom line.

I am sorry you feel this way and I sympathize with your concern. That said, I do not think you understand the actual facts of your case. You came to us in February of 2019. You had "SFR" returns which means the IRS filed on your behalf for tax years 2006 and 2007.
You are right. There is a a ten year statute of limitations. If you were not told of this, you should have and from my long experience we always do. I am not saying you are lying though. So if we did not, we are sorry. However, the 10 year statute of limitations does not go from the years the taxes were owed ie 2006 and 2007. The 10 year statute of limitations goes from when you file the return - in this case when the SFR return was filed for you by the IRS which was not until 2009 and 2010. The expiration of the statute of limitations for years 2006 and 2007 were May, 2019 and May 2020, respectively.
Thus, when you came to us and you said you were being garnished by the IRS, you still had a few months left to be garnished on the 2006 debt and another YEAR and a few months for the 2007 debt. The statute of limitations had not run as you have apparently been led to believe.
Please contact me at your earliest convenience so I can discuss and explain this to you further. We provided you with a 2 year payment plan to accommodate your financial situation. You are still paying for our services. I'm happy to have a discussion about those remaining payments because of your dissatisfaction.

Something I could have done myself. They convinced me they could do something I could not. They required payment upfront from me. And all they did was contact the IRS payment arrangements?
