Amazing staff Harris was very good

Harris was lovely to talk to and very helpful telling me about the local area :) The flat was very nice

Moved into the room in a hurry. Was asked to pay an exorbitant holding deposit more than one week's rent just to reserve the room (red flag!). Once this was completed, none of the team told me what the money was for or when I might see it again. This was a thorn in my side throughout my tenancy.
The location is good, and the room itself was decent, although a bit small for the price. The included washing machine was helpful, although it took a long time to address any problems with it to Haymarket. Bin collection was convenient. Towards the end of my stay, the mould in the kitchen was solved by having contractors over. Overall, I didn't find the property very homely and couldn't wait to leave, although I enjoyed the free matcha with the property rebrand.
Room inspection and security deposit was handled promptly. What was not so straightforward was reclaiming my holding deposit. I sent several emails, none of which received a response, and called multiple times to occasionally speak to staff who seemed out of their depth (they confused my problem with the security deposit). Some did direct me to another email address. After several mornings contacting the team, I finally was refunded for the deposit, but without receiving a confirmation of payment.
I would avoid this company in the future.
