I purchased a Xplora X6 Play smartwatch, but after several weeks (almost one month), I am still unable to use it.
Customer support in Germany has not responded to any of my requests via email, contact forms, phone, or social media.
I cannot activate an eSIM or purchase a subscription, so the device is completely unusable.
I urgently request immediate support and a quick resolution to this issue.
I regret buying this watch
I regret buying this watch. It has been extremely unreliable from the start. Calls often don’t go through, and the tracking feature has completely stopped working. On top of that, I contacted customer service about these issues and haven’t received any response, it’s been over a week!
Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this product.
Staying Connected Without the Risk
We have been using the watch for the past year and we are extremely happy with it! We have full control over the activity, and the GPS functionality works really well. It does exactly what we wanted, keeps us connected and in control, without exposing our kiddos to risks they are not ready to manage yet. Highly recommended if you want to stay connected and have peace of mind.

I have issues setting the watch and…
I have issues setting the watch and still waiting for their assistant. Phone number on their contact information doesn't work and they don't reply to customer service enquiries. I'm heading to the store to return the item. This has been the worst customer service experienece ever
Avoid Xplora at any cost
Avoid Xplora at any cost. You're better off with any Chinese product at 1/3rd of the price, or just add 10-20% more and buy a proper Apple watch SE for the kid.
You can't save any media from the watch (X6 play), tracking sometimes doesn't work, basically only the calling feature is useful.
I had issues with the watch, contacted support, they sent me a single email within a one month period, asking me to do some steps(took me one hour). I sent all requested info, no reply anymore. They are simply just a joke. Thus warranty doesn't exist for Xplora products, so when you're buying it you're risking losing the whole amount.
Avoid the Xplora products, they're just making fun out of customers.

The watch is very simple and lacks functions. What's worse is that XPLORA has a high cost per month to connect it to their subscription/ services.
There is also 1-2 months end of contract payment requirements.
Had I known all this at the beginning then I'd not bought the watch.
Very overpriced.

Can’t activate sim - pointless
Purchased a watch for my son’s Christmas present, but haven’t been able to activate the SIM or get the watch working. All messages to customer support have been ignored. Will be seeking a full refund from my bank

Messages and pictures are working great…
Messages and pictures are working great even though my child can’t read. We communicate through voice message and pictures. The only thing I would improve would be the tracking map. It doesn’t seem to update quickly in real time. Something like footprints showing a path would be excellent.

No contracts actually available despite what is advertised on the website
Phone delivered for Christmas however unable to activate SIM as when I do it says product out of stock. I’ve paid for the watch with a 12 month contract and now it seems the contract is unavailable leaving me with a watch that can’t be used. The company have set up direct debit for the contract but not delivered the contract. Can’t phone the company or get hold of anyone.

It does works fine for calls.
However, these can all improve:
- It does not accept text messages, only messages sent by chat through the Xplora app.
- Location accuracy is poor, our two kids that are out together are shown up to 100 m apart.
- Update frequency on location is horribly slow. On the way home from school (about 800 m) we get only 1-2 updated locations on the way.
- Safe zones (geo fencing) can only be set as a circle with a minimum radius of 300 m. It would be great to be able to set this as a self defined shape to be able to fence in the neighborhood better. Of course, that would also require better accuracy.
Overall - yes for calling, all other features need to improve A LOT.

Very poor customer service.
I have been trying to contact customer service for over 3 weeks for a defective watch. No response from customer service. Have tried contacting via all social media platforms which they are not active since 2023. And reached out via LinkedIn. Spent €200 for a watch that has never worked.

Customer service is non-existent
Defective watch.
Reported but took WEEKS for customer support to reply.
Had to send multiple emails back and forth to finally get them to facilitate a return.
They didn't send return label so spent weeks again requesting that (sent so many emails and ignored repeatedly).
Finally got return label so posted the watch back.
2.5 weeks later still not had an email acknowledging my return and no refund has been issued. I have sent 4 emails requesting an update and all ignored.
DO NOT deal with this company. It is horrendous.

Zero response from customer support
I have been waiting 2 weeks since purchasing my son's watch and I just can't get customer support to help. The IMEI number I was sent is wrong and therefore I can not activate the SIM card, as I just get an error message. So the watch is useless and my son is very upset. I have sent all of the information required to customer support, but only received an automated response - clearly AI generated. I have since asked for a refund but again received zero communication. It is the worse customer experience I have ever experienced and I've obviously lost the £130 I paid for the watch.
The app is a joke
The app is a joke. I can’t acess the device via app. Keep sending the form to the customer support, but they are sending me back generate e-mails as an answer. Tried multiple times to log out, erase the app… nothing helps. So I can’t send messages, or see the location, useless as F! I am soo mad, just bought the watch 10 days ago, but the app is a total BS

Fraud
They charged me one year after cancellation of contract after everything is payed without any notice or information,they contact service phone doesn't work in they normally working time and on my mails robot sends me automated replies... extremely strange... still waiting for reply and explanation before I contact authorities

If I could give a negative star I would. Nightmare to the customer services. It is a chatbot and no phone number to contact company directly. Taking your one month of repeating your problems and end up with no solution.
As warning do not use this company!
Great alternative to a phone
Works great as a phone replacement for our son. Since it is on his arm we do not have to worry about him forgetting or losing it while he is out playing in the neighborhood.
