I bought the 9" signature Skillet…

First thing- IT IS MADE IN CHINA!!!
I bought the 9" signature Skillet November 2024 ... December 2025 we discovered a crack on the bottom that went all the way through. It was not noticeable until the pan was slowly heating up - and we discovered liquid running onto stove top.
We followed all the care instructions for product ... and yet when emailing customer service for their 10 year warranty - we got the "replacement guarantee" (THEY AUTOMATICALLY ASSUME YOU DID THE DAMAGE)!!!
**So beware on their warranty - they don't really stand behind it, and assume any problems - you caused.
So shipping is the customer's responsibility...and 1st item they'll replace - and when it fails again in a year or so - you pay 20% of the current cost of product....

So here's my experience

So here's my experience, draw your own conclusions... I recently purchased a ceramic pan from xtrema based on the promise on their website of quality etc. Product arrived BUT, it is quite obvious that a flaw on the handle has been over painted/touched in by some "artisan" post production, and that's their idea of quality control. I emailed support with photographs. Absolute radio silence. Needless to say I won't be purchasing again from their range.

Cheap junk made in China!

After less than 10 months, my pan broke apart while I was cooking sautéed spinach. It had been treated well and never been in the dishwasher. Unfortunately, Xtrema is just cheap "Made in China" junk masquerading as a premium" product. Stay well clear of this scam!

The product is fake and the warranty is false.

I bought a pan from Xtrema and it got a crack by itself after 3 years. It wasn't dropped or anything. Even if it was dropped it was ceramic and it was not supposed to break or crack easily. The kitchen counter is only a few feet high.

It has a for 10 years warranty. When I contacted the company they said they will replace it if I have the receipt. I sent them the receipt and the pictures and it has been about one year I keep contacted them and they don't reply. It is such a big scheme people. Just be aware of it.

Was not suitable for me

I ordered the 28cm frying pan, which arrived from the US. It did not suit me, as I was looking for the pan that is suitable for cooking any dish. From my experience, this pan was not suitable for dishes, such as eggs and pancakes, and is not well suited for the gas hob such as mine. The company refunded me, although I still lost money on sending the pan back.

Dishonest Co. Made in China 15% restocking fee

Beware that all the cookware is Made in China, it's heavy and fragile and their 30 day trial is bogus because they charge 15% restocking fee when you return the item. I ended up paying almost $50 in restocking fee when I returned 2 items after just 1 day. I didnt even use the products I just returned them because they were too heavy for me. As far the one frying pan i did keep I cant say that I like it better than any others. I purchased Xtrema cookware because its advertised as not leaching any chemicals but based on the less than honest advertising I'm not trusting this company whatsoever!!!

Made in China, not very well.

Xtrema talks at length about supporting local artisans and making their pans and cups locally but the 4 cups I ordered were made in China, they looked cheap, felt cheap and were just cheap cups I overpaid for because I bought into how professional their website looks, meaning, I was stupid.
The best part is that Amazon and everybody else offer free returns, these guys have a 30 days guarantee but they don't tell you that they only guarantee that they will allow you to return it within 30 days OF YOU HAVEN'T USED IT. In the end, I paid $78 for 4 plain black cups and received $47 back because these greedy Chinese folks charge for $15 for the shipping label and also for something called "processing". The only way to not get screwed out of your money is to choose something else but even then you have to pay for shipping it back. My advice to you is this: avoid them at at all costs. After I purchased the cups my neighbors showed me their 8.5" frying pan that she was throwing away, from what I understand it's just a clever bait-and-switch scheme because they tell you their products are hand-made, locally, by "artisans" and you assume that, at these prices, they obviously mean it's made in the United States but EVERYTHING they sell is stamped out in China and I can bet my bottom dollar that the only "hand" part in the "hand crafted" is when some overworked Asian person puts it into the shipping box.
I will never, ever, ever even think of shopping there again. Ever. Not because of the money, heh, it hurts to lose nearly $30 but it's a small price to pay for experience... It's because these, seemingly, high-end, innovative products are just a mirage, they don't exist. Kyocera sells much better stuff for much less, I'll just keep getting it from them.
