Beware of deceptive practices

Beware of deceptive practices! This website came up in a search when I wanted to make a glass photo collage. It prompted me to build photos and I did so, but when I tried to find out sizes and prices, no options were available and I wasn't even sure I was ordering a glass photo collage. So I completed the draft and was presented with a button that said "review the project." I figured the review would show me what product I was ordering. When I clicked "review the project," it took me to Paypal and I clicked on it to advance to the review itself. Instead, it told me I had been charged for something, though I still don't know what. I believe it's some type of digital download that it said would be available in 10 days, but I'm unsure. Within a minute I emailed the company to tell them I had been mistakenly charged, and to cancel the order. The next day the company told me they can't cancel the order- even though I haven't received a product, didn't order it, and don't want it. I believe this is a scam for several reasons. First, I've never ordered any sort of online photo product where you don't get to review what you've built and click on a button saying you've done so, and a separate button to order. Second, they are unwilling to refund my money before I've even received the product they charged me for that I didn't order and don't want. BEWARE!

an unexpected customs charge…

There was an unexpected customs charge on delivery that wasn’t expected or explained in ordering. The split photo canvas was ordered over 5 prints and only 4 of them arrived. Making the product worthless. Part of one of the canvas had the top of the picture missing due to being wrapped on the canvas edge. Very poor. I am hoping the company does the right thing and puts this right.

Avoid avoid avoid

Avoid avoid avoid.
Terrible quality , creased canvas. they pretend they will replace, use horrific delivery company (not the one advertised) who you can’t contact and then basically ignore you when your product doesn’t arrive. I still never received a replacement or refund.
They are also extremely rude.

Avoid like the plague

Order arrived damaged

My order took a long time to arrive, and then when it finally did it was damaged.
I contacted their customer service straight away and sent through the requested photographs, but got a reply saying that they do not accept the damage was caused in production or shipping.
Shocking customer service, will never be using them again.
AVOID!!

Very disappointed with the quality and …

Very disappointed with the quality and service of this company. Ordered a mosiac canvas for 21st birthday present and all the images were pixelated. No warning was given at low quality images when uploaded and the images had been used for other prints and no warning given. When questioning they state it is all the customers choice, well how can an amateur like me know that it would be pixelated if I had no warning. They sent a preview through before ordering with no details on the low quality images and suggested I chose a particular size and option. Very bad customer service, very unhelpful. Lost £80.

Gone Down Hill - bad customer service.

We've used xxl quite a bit and usually the canvaseses are of great quality.

A recent order came back and the quality was shocking. Pixelated image. Not good.

I checked my file before contacting them. The response was just ridiculous.

Apparently. Because my image was 300dpi (the standard for the print industry) it enhanced the pixelated effect. Utter rubbish. I'm a professional photographer or over 10 years.

I had to get it reprinted at a local printers at twice the price. It came out perfect. And it was the exact same image.

Xxlpix blamed me and the image size. Taking no responsibility at all for it and leaving me out of pocket by £75

Slow delivery, bad communication & no service

We made a request for an order in December, but it took a week to finally get a response. Earlier emails were not received, and for some reason the email that were send later arrived without a problem(sure). It was not possible to call the company as we got some kind of dead line.

Then as the order was payed and was in production, it took very long before we had any reaction (about 1,5 weeks, it was delayed because of failures) while they claim to send it in a short amount of time. It took every time a few days for a response by email. And then finally, in total of almost a month, the product came.

First we were happy, but then, it seemed that the product was damaged. Definitely not by us and not due to the mail delivery, the company just didn't seem to care to check on the product before sending it. As we claimed a refund being not satisfied with the product within the 14 days, as the company holds in their conditions, it was denied due to a 'handmade' product. About everything that is produced in a photoprint company is personal, so it's just a very bad excuse to not give a refund.

The service from this company is of the lowest degree, there was not suggested another solution for us. No kind of compensation in any way.

I never had such a slow/bad service, bad communication from a photo company like this. Another request on a different photoprint company in our country was made in a few days without any problems, faster as stated.

Never again!

Poor quality and poor service

Bought a canvas photo collage from photos-on-canvas.co for £107. When it arrived the picture quality was blurry on some photos. Apparently the quality is not checked unless you add this as an extra service you pay for even though other companies I have used in the past do this as standard. Also the pictures did not line up and the borders between them were uneven. When I questioned this I was told the company do not give refunds and they would not reprint the canvas. My credit card company are currently following this up for me as the goods were not as described. They offered to help check the quality of the pictures on future orders, which they will obviously not be receiving.
