I purchased a Record Sabre 300 from Yandle's. I am extremely happy with the bandsaw it was well worth the money. It has all the requirements I was looking for when comparing bandsaws. You can change the blade easily without taking of the fence rail. The blade tension can be slackened or tensioned easily by moving a lever. The blade guides are a breeze to adjust no tools required and easy to see the bottom guides. The deal from Yandel's sweetened the pot, I ended up with 5 blades and a base cabinet all in the price which was reduced as well. The delivery took only a few days and communication was good.

the web site is easy to use and orders are delivered in a reasonable timescale but i am disapointed in the quality of the wooden slats as there are a a number of chips out of the edges

1st time using Yandles so left it a while before reviewing. The Razortip SL1 is an absolute powerhouse in Pyrography. I purchased that and some tips and everything has more than met my expectations. It’s great visiting Yandel’s. There’s plenty of parking and the tool shop is a wood turner’s paradise. The craft and gift shop has lots to offer and is great for unusual gifts. But give the cafe a wide berth. The staff are pleasant but the service is slow, the food is mediocre and the coffee is awful. They’re either very mean with the amount of coffee they use or they use cheap and poor quality coffee. There must be better places to eat in Martock.

Yandles themselves were excellent to buy from. Communication was good, the product arrived promptly and well-packaged.
If my wife knew that I'd spent the fat end of £800 on a vacuum she'd go ballistic. Especially when, if I'm honest, I'm not very happy with it. The suction power when 2 or 3 motors are running is incredible. However - the dust which escapes from the 3 ports on top of the machine goes straight into the on/off switches and stops them working. One motor continues to work reasonably reliably (though not completely reliably), the second motor takes some fiddling with the switch to get it to work at all (25% of the time I just give up with it) and the third motor just never works - the light in the switch lights up (well - glimmers) but the motor doesn't kick in. It's not possible to take the switch units off to clean them without drilling out some rivets. It would probably have worked OK if I had spent another £100+ on three 2-1/2" hoses to remove the residual dust away from the top of the machine, but without them, it's very poor. If it is British -made, it should be better thought-out and for the price should be much more reliable.

I have just completed a half day course at Yandles on the SKEW Chisel with Paul Ridler (RPT).
Like many I have always been hesitant when using the skew as it is an unforgiving tool; however Paul is an excellent and patient teacher who gives you the confidence to persevere and continue to practice. I have dealt with Yandles for many years making many purchases along the way including their in house courses I will continue to do so, the people are superb, range of products is vast and customer service is excellent.

I was pleased with the item I ordered, and it arrived quickly. There was enough information on the website that I was able to get the right item first time. No fuss, no hassle, just quick, uncomplicated service.
