A Great Company with great variety of yarn and knitting notions at great prices.

My experience with Yarn Paradise and Ice yarns has been wonderful. Their quality is the best available, with an incredible variety of every style of yarn in the world. Their prices are also great.

I’ve been a very happy customer for over 12 years. Have never had an issue with communication or missing items. I usually get my package within 5 days. The shipments are easily tracked. I highly recommend this company.

DON'T PURCHASE FROM YARN PARADISE/ICE YARNS

I'm afraid to say that I have experienced similar dreadful customer service problems that several other people have complained about. It is two months since I ordered yarn and when I have contacted ICE YARNS/Yarn paradise they refuse to accept responsibility for "no show delivery", the amounts owing to me are in total over £50 and I doubt I will ever see anything for my money.

Exceeded my expectations...

I only became addicted to my new knitting and crochet hobby about 4 weeks ago and am creating beautiful things with a voracity like no other. I have already become a yarn snob and even though I reside in a bedroom community to Seattle, I cannot locate fine fibers in my area…in fact most of the shops specialize in animal free fibers. What??? I eat steak and I want wool. Period. I decided that I want to make a “pretty room” throw with fine alpaca and strand it with mohair. None of the chain stores sell anything that would help me achieve this dream blanket. I scoured the internet finding many sources where I could easily acquire the yarn at $20+ per skein, but I want a generously sized sofa blanket big enough for me and my sweets to enjoy at the same time. The cost would be way too much. I then stumbled upon Yarn-Paradise. The prices were crazy inexpensive. The catch is the shipping. It can easily be as much as the yarn itself but it does come from Turkey. For those who don’t have a globe handy – that is literally the other side of the world from Seattle. I then looked for reviews like you are now. Mixed experiences is what I found. I was still tentative. I looked on eBay and found them selling there. I am a dedicated and loyal ebayer. I buy – I sell without trepidation. I found the mohair I wanted on their ebay listings so went for it using my PayPal account to pay. I figured, I had eBay protection, PayPal protection and then the credit card linked to my Paypal to add one additional layer of warranty.

All my concern was for not. I ordered on the afternoon of the 18th. It delivered to my door on the 23rd. The parcel was stated to be expected to deliver on the 25th-28th. The yarn was $33 – the shipping was $21. The yarn would have cost me $100 from any of the other US based websites and I probably would have still paid $20 shipping. I feel I got a bargain on both costs.

The yarn quality…everything I was expecting it to be. I stitched up a swatch last night and had to bring it to work to show it off. It is getting all the ooohs and aaawws that it deserves.

I will not hesitate to do business with Yarn Paradise in the future. My first experience was stellar.

Absolutely no customer service

Made an order online. They explained it was coming from Turkey and may take a while. Ok with this, have ordered from them before. Waited two months still no parcel. E-mailed the company to ask if they know where my order was and they said it was abandoned by UPS and they couldn’t help. They said UPS tried to deliver multiple times but couldn’t and there was a problem with my address details. All of this news to me, I hadn’t received any notification by e-mail or a card through the letterbox because of a failed delivery. The company then decided to argue with me via e-mail saying it was my fault for not getting back to them. They did not even want to offer any kind of resolution. In short be warned about ordering from this company. Try to find one closer to home, at least you are covered under UK law.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Their yarns are inexpensive and come relatively fast, but their customer service is HORIBLE. I placed a large order, and when it arrived one of the items was missing. I tried to contact them multiple times to get the item sent or st the very least get refunded but they refused to admit that they had made a mistake. They just kept parroting back that “the order was shipped in full” and refused to entertain the idea that they had left an item out of the shipment.

Not for me.

The yarn is fine, the price was good but way too costly in the long run. I was hit with "processing fees" once they hit our customs. I've ordered from other sites but never had to pay a hidden fee on arrival to the country. I haven't even had an "I'm sorry it didn't work for you" from the company. Will not order from them again.
