Super.com follow up review

this is a follow up to my review of my experience with super.com. I have asked them several times to provide me with a copy of the email that they claim i was sent notifying me that my ticket was cancelled. they still have not sent the email. Again, they previously admitted that there was an error because i never received notice that my ticket was cancelled. I have an email, of which i forward a a to them and the BBB, stating “your flight is booked.” Now i don’t know about e everyone else, but if i receive an email stating my flight is booked, I expect that there is a ticket waiting for me at the time of my flight. Also, since they’re claiming that they emailed me to tell me that my ticket was cancelled, after they emailed me to say my ticket is booked, why are they unable to provide a copy of that email? And as i stated in my previous review, one of their representatives said that I was entitled to reimbursement. I gave them that person’s name and asked if he could be reached to confirm our conversation and they said that they could not reach him. to be clear they send me a copy of a cancellation email ,which IS NOT addressed to me. Again, they won’t get the customer service rep that i first spoke to who said i was entitled to reimbursement (i’ll gladly accept a credit, by the way), nor will they provide or even check the audio of that conversation on February 23. i know when i called. it shouldn't’ be hard to locate.

These guys are parasites sucking for the small business.

These guys are parasites sucking the lifeblood out of small businesses. They hide all the positive reviews and then turn around and try to sell you expensive advertising. When it comes to the authenticity of a recipe, they don't care at all. If a customer leaves a nonsensical review, Yelp refuses to remove it. For example, if you sell champagne and a customer complains that the wine is 'carbonated and terrible' — you explain to Yelp that this is exactly how the product is supposed to be, but they couldn't care less. They prioritize ignorance over authenticity just to keep their platform messy and force you to pay.

I was called by someone in the sales…

I was called by someone in the sales dept. He talked a good game and kept trying to up sell me. I agreed to try this at $5 a day. Business is slow so I thought it would be worth it. I was supposed to call back after I checked out the page.i didn't get around to calling back and I assumed this wouldn't start til I did. Imagine my surprise when I was checking my bank balance and discovered they had deducted $420! That's 15 dollars a day! It caused me to bounce a couple of autopay payments.
I called the number the original snake-I mean sales guy- at the number he gave me only to find out it was to the customer 'screw me' dept. after 45 minutes of desperately trying to get my money back(and now afraid to just hang up or I would get nothing back) they said they would refund me $250 and going forward I'd be charged the $5 a day I agreed to, and it would be in my acct in 2-3 days. Surprise! It wasn't. I will be going to my bank and blocking them from taking any more, but I'll be eating bologna for a month. DO NOT TALK TO THESE SNAKE OIL SALESMEN!
Sorry this was so long. It got shorter when I deleted the cuss words.

Good for consumers, not so much for businesses

Never did I ever think I’d be reviewing a review platform lol.

I have been yelp elite for over a decade, been writing reviews since I was in university and still am posting my thoughts and photos online to share my experience at different establishments (restaurants, hotels, spas, parking lots, and more).

As a consumer and user, great experience though it has gone downhill over time. People are going to google reviews now. They never really had many events for Elites.

What I didn’t like was what I heard from my friends who were business owners, who were contacted by Yelp to be sold services and when they refused, they mysteriously got spammed with low rating reviews. So suspicious.

Misleading, lies, and endless harassment.

Do not advertise with Yelp, they will lie, mislead you, and harass you for years.

A few years ago, I advertised and I still get calls after being told I am on the do not call list. This week I have got two calls already from Yelp which has prompted this review.

I advertised for my business and was lied to and mislead.

I was told I could turn off the leads and not have to use that function at all. This was a lie, leads could only be turned off for 15 days then they are turned back on, and you automatically get charge for leads you do not want. Not sure if this was changed this was years ago when I used their system.

When I called my contact at Yelp and asked what was going on and why was I lied to, they said "They did not lie leads can be turned off, just not indefinitely."

This is the kind of stuff Yelp pulls.

Yelp is hurting businesses

I am deeply disappointed with Yelp. This platform is misleading customers by removing genuine positive reviews while leaving negative ones, creating a skewed, unfair impression of businesses. It’s clear that Yelp manipulates reviews, making it difficult for users to trust the ratings they see.

What’s worse, Yelp makes it nearly impossible to remove your information or opt out of their service. Once you’re listed, you have no control over your presence on their site. This lack of transparency and control is unacceptable. I cannot recommend Yelp to anyone looking for honest reviews or fair business practices.

They are horrible

They are horrible. I had multiple clients leave me 5 star reviews and they took it upon themselves to take them down. When I called them about it, I was pretty much told that's just how their system works. And when I told them that if that was the case, I would like my page taken down I got told, we don't take pages down, steer clear of them, any business, don't use them. It's absolutely ridiculous that they would take down legit Five star reviews absolutely disgusted with this company

Belligerent Yelp Ads Agent

I started my Yelp business profile. Their ads sales agent Chris Lewis called me unsolicited and when I hung up on him after realizing it was a sales call, he emailed me and stated "You'll never get new customers that way". Chris, I did not ask you to call, you are not my customer, and if i was open to yelp ads, i certainly am not anymore.

I have a Minka fan in my home and it needed a new sending unit and remote. Lumens in Sacramento showed it on their internet site. I called and was told that if I couldn't show some type of proof that I did not buy the fan there they would not sell me the parts. I secured them from the company but I never experienced that they would not help me

DO NOT USE YELP WHATEVER YOU DO

I paid over $500 in ads and received 2 leads for my business Both went nowhere. Worst experience I had in my life. I've never been fuming with a service before like this. I cancelled multiple times because it was providing absolutely nothing for me. I called them on 3 separate occasions to be put on hold for 45 minutes to an hour. After talking to the "customer support specialist" I get told even though I tried to cancel it because Yelp is a "Self Help" company that I will not get a refund. Yeah because that's the only way they scam people out of money. Nobody would ever pay for ads if that was the case. If you ever see a free credit promotion DO NOT USE IT. This is the worlds worst and scummiest company I have ever done business with and I will be pulling myself completely off of this site. If I could give this place a million 1 star reviews I would. I have genuinely never hated a commpany so much in my career. It seems everyone else has the same thing going on. If only I had read the reviews before hand.

Yelp is completely useless now

Yelp is completely useless now as they continuously direct you to paid sponsors, intentionally misdirect you to sites you don't want, and do not display full reviews. Yelp is also misleading as they don't display full restaurant info on the website and misdirect links to their ap. Really BAD and HOSTILE to users.

This for Advent Health Orthopedics and…

This for Advent Health Orthopedics and Spine of Inverness. I would rate this medical group a minus one if I could. Advent employees are hired based on the least expensive wages they can pay giving the impression they care more about their profit than patient care. One employee who went over my medications was so young he had acne! The doctors are inaccessible and even the physician assistants do not return phone calls. I wrote a letter to the physician assistant asking the status of my case after 3 visits and no calls. I then received a call from the physician /surgeon who was rude and condescending and stated he would NOT do surgery on a 76 year old person. This felt like age discrimination.
I then went to another spine clinic - not knowing it was another Advent Health clinic. There I had a physician assistant lecture me for a half an hour how I MUST submit to spinal injections and the Dr. there said their clinic could not help me, changed the diagnosis and insisted again that I submit to injections.
If you are having back pain I would NOT recommend Advent Health.

Streib Company updated my old outlets in all my rooms and added an outlet in my bathroom. Mark came right on time and was professional and friendly. He was careful of moving my furniture and cleaned up beautifully. I feel it was a very fair price for all the work he did. I highly recommend this Company and would use them for any future electrical work.
