I have found Yeovil and Shaun in particular to be very helpful. I had an issue with a purchase and he went to great lengths to resolve the matter and was at all times friendly and professional, keeping me updated and solving the issue.
Per other reviewers, Shaun sold my goods and I never received the money nor evidence that they were sold. After nearly a year of chasing, listening to so many lies, and plenty of incompetence, I've given up with these people. I wish I had read the reviews prior to sending my goods to Yeovil Auction Rooms.
A Very Unpleasant Experience
My email request for postage of item at a later date was ignored and then denied. My emial was sent immediately after the auction ended. When I spoke to a man by the name of Sean his manner was abrupt, argumentative and rude, denying they had correspondence from me. He told me to forward it again as proof. I forwarded the email and again this was ignored and I was told they had already posted the item, in his words "and besides, we go on holiday and dont want to be held responsible for items in our keep".
I would have accepted their reasoning for not wanting to hold onto the item for any length of time, had they simply politely replied to my email saying as such, rather than ignoring my request and then denying its existance and finally just being down right rude on the phone.
A very unpleasant experience to say the least!
