Every investor should try this. I made use of their free fund analysis and found out that most of my St James Place and old Aviva pension was invested in the worst 50% of funds. DO NOT think because you are with a big company you are doing the best you can. My previous adviser told me "all funds went down last year" - simply not true. I have taken further advice, but more importantly I am much more confident in my own research as a customer of Yodelar. I am very grateful. Thank you.

Yodelar and in particular Sean was extremely helpful to us choosing what we need to do with our pension. We had been advised generally to go for drawdown but that's really where the headache started. Sean was able to de-code the jargon from various companies and give his honest opinion which in the end enabled us to choose an adviser. Sean also helped us by introducing us to an adviser best suited to our needs, that would make regular visits to update us, and was far from the most expensive provider. All in all we are very happy with the response and help we have received. Highly recommended.

Yodelar supplied me with a review of funds in my current portfolio which are managed by 2 companies. This showed that the advice I have been receiving is woefully inadequate. They also reviewed my proposed portfolio with Hargreaves Lansdowne which has given me the confidence to give my 2 current advisors the boot and transfer to Hargreaves.

The best information I have come across online regarding investment fund performance. I registered on Yodelar, analysed my portfolio to find lots of poor performing funds. I had suspected poor advice for a long time. Just recently Yodelar referred me to an exceptional adviser.

I have been following Yodelar for several months and received excellent advice from Sean about how the Yodelar systems operates. Being able to see how different funds perform relative to one another and to compare performance is extremely useful and in many ways is clearer than doing the same on, for instance, Citywire. If anything, there is almost too much information!!

I was concerned that my Drawdown pension portfolio was not performed and requested assistance from ukmoneysite who provided an excellent analysis which will allow me to transfer the portfolio to another provider where I can have control of the fund selection. The model portfolio provided has now allowed me to create my own fund selections which are rated in their comprehensive data analysis. My previous experience with so called “financial advisers” has not been good but it’s very simple to understand the ukmoneysite fund analysis and manage your portfolio.

During my working life, I was frequently astonished at how difficult it was to track the performance of my various pensions, and relied on “experts” to tell me which were good and which bad. I paid them big fees for vague and biased advice.
When I retired last year, I moved some pensions to Hargreaves Lansdowne to regain some control. They gave much improved information and lower fees, but not wishing to employ another financial adviser, how was I going to select the funds to both perform better and provide the right risk and mix?
It was whilst researching funds that I came across the impressive ukmoneysite.com website and asked for a free review of my two portfolios. My wife and I read the review together and for the first time I saw 1, 3 and 5 year performance of my 16 funds compared with the market. Some very poor funds clearly should have been sold years ago! I feel let down by my advisers.

I have been managing my own investment portfolio for a number of years using a number of tools and reports from Trustnet and Citywire to pick my funds and trusts. However, with so many funds to choose from, it is very difficult to see the wood for the trees. UKmoneysite.com have a very simple way of appraising funds in that they only list funds that have been top quartile for 1, 3 and 5 years. Their report high-lighted that I had stayed loyal to a number of my funds that had dropped to the bottom quartile since Brexit and made it relatively easy for me to choose alternative funds.

Early days yet but I feel confident that I now have a strategy to manage my portfolio more effectively at a much lower cost than using an investment adviser.

I am delighted to be able to post a review for this company and in particular for Sean Deery. I was nervous about how to look for advice and how my personal information would be handled. My experience is that Mr Deery is professional, polite and very organised. Mr Deery took the time to find out what I was looking for and most importantly, he does what he says he will do and when he says he will do it and is keen to make sure he offers a service to fit the client. The portfolio review was eyeopening and I feel in a much better place to move forward with my financial planning.

Sean Deery was very helpful. Gave me stark and slightly uncomfortable advice about poor performing funds I had invested in. And for a modest fee I got the advice I required. Felt a bit ooh-err risky paying for the advice and then selling so money units in one and then re-investing as per this new advice. But has paid back in just over 6 months in absolute spades. Have literally gained £1000s in the value of my portfolio. Almost all my unit trustholdings are now firmly in the pink. Feel sure there is more to come and will return for more advice, annually.
