Charged $200 After Only 5 Days of Membership

I was a member at the YogaSix Riverstone studio for only 5 days (Nov 29–Dec 4) and paid $135 for December, yet the studio charged me over $200 for an unwarranted additional month and fees.

Even though I canceled within the same billing cycle, which ended December 29, the studio still processed charges for January and added additional fees for services I never used. When I contacted the studio, I was told the charges were automatically generated and could not be adjusted.

However, the membership agreement does not contain language supporting an additional monthly charge after canceling within the same billing cycle, nor does it support the additional fees that were applied.

I have already disputed these charges with my bank and filed a complaint with YogaSix corporate, yet the studio continues to show a balance and has continued contacting me regarding the charges.

This experience has been extremely frustrating and distressing, especially considering I was only a member for five days.

I am sharing my experience so other consumers are aware before signing up for a membership.

Porter Ranch, CA - community & instruction

As an unlimited member since May 2025, I attend about 30 classes per month. The experienced instructors are the best I’ve had in the last 30 years. The extensive schedule & variety of yoga classes has so many health and spiritual benefits. I’d like to stay with yoga six for the next twenty years or more.

Great instructors and very standard…

Great instructors and very standard format that helped me go from knowing nothing to getting so much flexibility especially in my hamstrings that I thought I would never have.

Rochester hills yoga 6

Yoga six is a scam and they have predatory practices to keep charging you after you go to cancel. I would never give another dollar to this company again. Avoid at all costs especially the rocbester hills michigan studio.
