Wonderful stay at Oakwood lodges, could not fault the place or the service we have received. Booking was easy company responsive to queries and even called prior to our check in to see if we had everything we needed. Wonderful experience

Enjoyed staying in this lovely, spotlessly clean apartment with everything we needed for our short stay in a york.
Just minutes walk into the centre of York,so very convenient
The apartment was quiet and felt safe.
Will definitely be back on our next visit to this lovely city.

Wonderful stay at Malt Shovel Court. Could not find any faults and extremely clean. Excellent location and free parking an added bonus. Will definitely stay again 🙂

Really enjoyed our stay Bootham House. The flat’s in a brilliant location, close enough to everything York has to offer, but far enough out to feel relaxed, especially with the museum park and river just round the corner. It was also very clean, tidy, and exactly as shown in the photos. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. Would definitely stay again.

We had a 2 night stay in the mulberry lodge and it was everything and more that we were both hoping for and expecting, all contact with staff members both during the booking process and our stay was exceptional. Even when we had hot tub issues upon the first attempt to use it ( full of foam from previous occupants ) it was dealt with, with the minimum of fuse. If I could score 10 stars I would

Perfect stay! I like to check properties when I check in and I couldn’t find any faults it was perfectly clean.

I am writing this review after a really poor experience with this company.

I had a long-standing booking for one of York Boutique Lets’ properties (‘The Willows’), which I was really looking forward to. However, in February, I received a message from the company implying that the property was now being managed by other people and that they wanted to offer me alternative accommodation. I pointed out that I had picked this specific property due to its decor and location, and that I needed particular sleeping arrangements which this house offered, due to having one male guest and 5 females.

York Boutique Lets then backtracked and reassured me in writing - multiple times - that my booking would be upheld and secure. Obviously, this whole exchange still panicked me a bit as I now felt worried that I could end up traveling to York from Norfolk and find myself without a place to stay.

Last week, I received further contact from the company to say that my booking WAS in fact cancelled after all, as the new company was taking on a long-term tenant, leaving me and my friends stuck with pre-booked trains to York and activity bookings that were non-refundable. York Boutique Lets, having already proven themselves totally untrustworthy and unreliable, then proceeded to offer me sub-par alternative options (with not even an accompanying offer of compensation or a discount), which I found totally laughable.

As a customer, I am extremely disappointed with the way this was mismanaged by both companies. It has unnecessarily caused me huge inconvenience and stress on a weekend which was supposed to be for birthday celebrations and an opportunity to ask friends to be part of my bridal party - all sadly spoiled now.

I am still awaiting my refund of hundreds of pounds, which hasn’t yet come back through Airbnb, and wanted to just make others aware of how this was handled so they aren’t similarly misled and mistreated in the future.

Stayed at Blue Bridge Apartments it was super clean and comfortable and in a great location

5* all the way.
We stayed at the Creamery Cottage, for two nights. We absolutely loved it, it was so cleans and tidy and had everything you needed. The games room was extremely fun and it also got warm very fast which was perfect. The only slight criticism would be the WiFi was not the best however, compared to how perfect everything else it was the only smallest problem. We will be looking forward to returning again!

Had a great stay at your Fishergate flat - our second time there and would very much return.

Really well appointed flat with an excellent master ensuite bedroom and 2 further doubles. Perfect location for the Barbican centre (pretty much 2 minutes walk door to door) and just a few minutes walk to the centre of York.

Good comms, good flat, good stay, all happy.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Bootham House. The property is perfectly situated for the shops and attractions in York.
It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Very easy to access and clear instructions were provided.
Only issue was the 4pm check in time which we thought was a bit late given we were only staying for one night and we had to be out by 10am.

Our recent 3 night stay at Minsters Keep was fabulous. The apartment is ideally situated exactly as described just 2 minutes walk from the Minster and the shambles. It was fully equipped with all equipment required if self catering is preferred. The whole apartment was spotless.
A free parking spot in the secure car park was ideal.

Our 3 night stay at 21 Dixon’s Yard,was very enjoyable. Lovely apartment clean, warm, comfy beds and in an excellent position to visit all York has on offer.
Once there we didn't move the car until we left and
it was great to have secure parking on site.

We stayed at cedar Lodge on a one night stay it was perfect from start to finish the lodge was the best lodges we have stayed in the deco everything about the place was stunning was so relaxed the hot tub was lovely with all the lights and flowers around carnt wait to go back highly recommended

We had a great stay in Willow Lodge over New Year. The lodge was spotless and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a great addition and the surroundings lovely and peaceful.

We stayed at the Malt Shovel apartment. Fantastic apartment, it was massive. Pictures were spot on for accuracy. Location was brilliant, 5 mins to The Shambles. Check in instructions were clear and really easy to follow. It was decorated for Christmas which was a really nice touch. Spotlessly clean. Even has an outdoor space with table and chairs

Stayed at Dixon’s Yard for 3 nights. Excellent apartment clean, comfy and in an excellent position to visit all the sites York has to offer
Great to have secure parking on site.
Close to some great restaurants and bars and a short walk away from the Shambles.
Visited York many times but found this apartment to be the best we have stayed in will definitely return

We stayed in Henry court apartment 1.
It was a little difficult to find but after phoning the office we were expertly guided to the front door. The apartment was small and cosy. Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and lovely bathroom/shower. We were very happy with our stay

A lovely little apartment that was clean and tidy. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of dishwasher tablets - I didn’t need to use the ones I took with me. The bathroom was also very clean with the best towels ever - fluffy, soft and massive! My only gripe was a white stain on the blanket on the bed. I would have put it in the washing machine but it too was massive and I didn’t think it would fit in.

The apartment was very modern, very well equipped, even washing machine, perfect location, would 100% recommend, and would definitely return
