Strong Warning

Strong Warning: Steer Clear of This Dealership
As a professional vehicle collection and delivery service, we were instructed by a vulnerable female customer to collect and deliver an Isuzu vehicle she had purchased from this Yorkshire-based dealership.
During the journey to the customer, the vehicle suddenly entered limp-home mode and began leaking fuel - clear and serious mechanical faults that made it unsafe and not transportable. We immediately notified the dealership owner during a recorded telephone call.
Rather than accept responsibility, the owner explicitly instructed us not to inform the customer about these defects and to continue the delivery as though nothing was wrong.
When we rightly refused - the dealer then wanted the vehicle back for inspection we asked them to collect from 30 minutes away as we refused to transport the Isuzu. The Owner of the dealership informed the customer the delivery agents were having lunch and would collect in two hours which was an utter lie.

Breakdown:

• The owner and a staff member to collect the vehicle from our location (approximately 30 minutes away), asking us to wait just “10 minutes” for them to check it at their premises - a request that was illogical.
• Retained the vehicle on their ramp/premises for over two hours before calling to say nothing is wrong with it.
• Later contacted the customer directly and falsely claimed that “nothing was wrong with the vehicle” and that we had refused to deliver it because we were too busy with other jobs and supposedly had “an agenda”.
We have full recorded evidence of all conversations, plus photographic and proof that the vehicle was faulty at the point of collection.
Attempting to pressure a third-party delivery provider into concealing serious safety defects from a vulnerable buyer, then misrepresenting the facts to that buyer, is utterly unacceptable and raises serious ethical and potentially legal concerns.
We strongly recommend that all customers - particularly elderly or vulnerable individuals - avoid this dealership entirely. Your safety and honest treatment are clearly not their priority.
