Findon Vale, awful place

Thought we would try out the new look Findon Vale Garden Centre as we used to go there a lot and then it got taken over and done up.
Big mistake.
Had a load of stuff we were going to buy but thought we would have a coffee and a hot chocolate first.
They have no idea how to make a coffee or hot chocolate and when challenged about how awful the hot chocolate was, they didn’t care. So you stole £8 from us for 2 sh@t drinks.
I would avoid this one and maybe try Squires up the road.

How fresh are the farm eggs

Visited the Findon Vale Garden Centre in Rogers Lane, Findon as we had previously received excellent advice and support for our garden machinery.

That support was needed in deciding what if any of the current robotic lawnmowers, that did not need boundary wiring, could be easily installed and could be relied on to provide long term service.

A friendly member of the garden centre staff advised that they no longer had a machinery section that had previously been operated by Ian Ticehurst and she kindly provided his business card.

We did spend a little time looking around this recently refurbished retail area and were tempted to purchase a box of very large farm eggs for £2.79 and noted that they had a very long sell by date at least a fortnight ahead . We paid cash for them at Samantha's till on 6th March at 12.05 pm.

We were a little surprised that when used the next morning in the frying pan the egg whites spread thinly and did not proudly support the yolk.

We have had supermarket eggs that seemed fresher using this criteria!

It would be re-assuring to have on our receipt or on the website a clear indication of the actual operating company or proprietors
