Terrible customer service

I ordered a wedding band. It was supposed to have come personalized it came not personalized. I asked them about how to correct it. They said I would have to return the wrong ring process the return and them ship the personalized ring. I’m getting married in 3 weeks. They were EXTREMELY rude to me. I told them it is their mistake not mine. Could they please send the correct ring and I will ship the wrong ring back and email the supervisor the tracking info. She told me I can’t expect to receive something for nothing. I never asked for a refund I simply asked them to correct their mistake. I was then told I could drive to the closest Zales and send it off and maybe it would be back in time. That’s 2.5 hours away. I will NEVER use Zales again

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. Really they lie to you and then sit there and say sorry. And that’s it. No help ever there is nothing they can do they are absolutely useless

If I could give a lower rating I would

If I could give a lower rating I would. I placed an order online, and was under the impression that I received free 2 day shipping and would not be charged until it shipped. I was charged the following day (03/06) and when I contacted customer service I was told I would not receive my item until 03/19. This is two areas in which they failed me in customer service and provided false information.
Additionally when submitting a "cancellation request" I was told it could take up to 2 days for the request to be reviewed/submitted, then another 10+ days for processing and a refund to be issued. Then I needed to contact my bank. I was also informed that I would not receive any confirmation email or documentation, until my request was processed. This is the most unpleasant and misleading service I have ever received. I strongly advised you to take your business elsewhere as this company is all about misleading and false information.

On 3/01/2020 I went to zales at bay…

On 3/01/2020 I went to zales at bay plaza Mall to have my daughter anklet repair and I met Mr. Ahamed he was so very helpful instead of sending my daughter anklet to get repair, he was so helpful that he fixed it himself, my daughter anklet for free I was very thankful he made my daughter happy the management has hired the right person this time I really appreciated his professionalism

I ordered an item

I ordered an item, as a birthday gift, online. I wanted him to have it for his birthday and was told that he could pick it up in store. First I had an issue where I got an email saying that the item would not arrived until a month after purchasing (which would be a week after his birthday). There was no tracking information, because it said the item had not been shipped. Then suddenly I got an email saying it had arrived. I was happy about that working, but wondering why the tracking information was not up to date. Then when he went to pick up the item the store person refused to give it, despite me asking before hand if that was possible. I even contact customer service and they advised me to ask the store could allow a guest pick up just once. I of course had already tried but gave it another shot to no avail. She just kept saying a policy and I asked for her to show him the policy and all. Then, preceded to tell me they can "cancel" the order and then order it again and send it him his home address. I asked how long that would take, they said up to 60 days. I will not be buying from them again. This is going to be a huge inconvenience, as now I must take time off work to make the trip to pick it up.

Zale's makes claims with promotions…

Zale's makes claims with promotions online and via email. However the "coupons" and "special discount offers" do not transfer or make connection with purchasing sites. When one tries to communicate with the company about the problem, one's messages go into a black hole -- no response, no action. Evidently nobody at Zale's cares at all (about anything related to their business conduct). Let's go find a jeweler that gives true, personal service.

Zales diamond and emerald ring

Bought a diamond and emerald ring on Oct 31st at Zales, on Dec 30th ( two months later) after about 15 times wearing the ring, I noticed one emerald had fallen out. Clearly, poor workmanship. Zales ignored my email and the hour I spent trying to “chat” online with one of their customer service agents was extremely frustrating. She refused to give me a working email address - apparently they “turn their email off over the holidays”?!! I still am not sure whether they will fix the ring/replace the stone for free! Agent wrote, “If there is no warranty or updated inspections that needed to be done there would be no coverage on your item.” She had a copy of the receipt- surely she’d know what warranty I had? If a ring doesn’t even stay together for two months, surely they should repair it for free? She would not directly answer my questions and came out with, “ As per the warranty you do not have none ( sic) since the Diamond Bond is voided.” Like, what does that even mean????? I will NEVER again buy jewelry from them. Terrible customer service.

Ordered a ring for Christmas and paid…

Ordered a ring for Christmas and paid for express delivery. The website and support said I would receive it later than Christmas so I went out and got another one from another place and a day later the ring came in the mail. Returned the ring and Zales refunded me the money in a few days. Would’ve been nice to not have the stress and worry but the store was helpful. Online support should have been able to tell me when the ring was coming though.

Never had an experience like what I had…

Never had an experience like what I had with this Jewlry store, I bought a ring which cost $1407.00, in cash and after 10 days I returned the ring, after 3 wks I received a refund check which when I deposit it in same bank as the check is the bank hold the check coz they told me it was a fraud check... I went so many times in the store also called their head office and yet it's been 3 months and my money never came they told me when I went on the first week of September that I would receive the check in 3 weeks, and the check never came it's been 2 months and when I went back to them last week they said it was sent in the mail on October the 2oth 2019, but until now I badly needed that check and still no trace in the mail...
If I could give them a zero rating...I will give it to them...this company can't be trusted with their words...they keep on telling me lies....

We ordered a wedding band in December…

We ordered a wedding band in December for my fiance. The first ring came in the wrong size, the second came in the wrong color, the third came in two days before our wedding after literally receiving every excuse about why it had not been ordered in a timely manner and why it could not get here on time, with no apology ever offered. Zales did not offer reasonable compensation, so we found a much better quality ring in a very short period of time and returned the one to Zales. Will not buy anything from them again.

Happy with my ring!

I read the other review on here and elsewhere on the internet and got a little nervous, but luckily my experience has been really positive so far with Zales. My ring was delivered quickly, it was a great price, and pick up at the store was painless. Just sharing my personal experience.

I purchased my husband's wedding ring …

I purchased my husband's wedding ring from Zales two months later it broke. I took it in for repair and of course they had to ship it off. So I decided to have mine sent in to be cleaned as well. A week later I receive a call stating they are unable to repair it and I need to get him a better quality ring. My thought is you shouldn't sale people low quality rings in the first place! So now he has to wait 8 weeks for the replacement to come in. I called Zales on the 29th of September because no one had called to let me know my ring was back in store and ready to be picked up on the the 27th and the lady told me she is with a customer and to call back. This was my second time calling and I guess since I had already bought the ring I was no longer a customer! I reminded her I am a customer too and then she told me she would call me back in one hour. 3 hours passed and no return call. My first and last time shopping with them!

Ordered a ring for my daughter

Ordered a ring for my daughter. They sent it to the wrong state... won't issue me a refund until they figure out what happened... which can take weeks. Will never buy from them again. Very dissatisfied in their customer service. Thety were also rude during the phone calls I made.

Great prices.

You can always find something that is beautiful on great discounts or even clearance prices. So its always worth checking out Zales when special days arrive.

Can't Complain!

I was in a bind for mother's day and I wanted to get my mother something nice. I didn't feel like braving the mall crowds so I ordered a nice sparkler online. Not only did my order arrive on time, the smile on Mom's face was priceless!

Customer service and 3rd party jewelery

I ordered a ring for my husband to be expecting it to ship on the Monday after I ordered it. I found out that it would not ship until 7-10 business days from the day I ordered it and I would not have it on time for my wedding. When I tried to cancel my order they could not guarentee it would cancel either because it gets shipped from a 3rd party vendor that they have no phone number for at all. Very unsatisfactory customer service.
