Horrible experience at Bristol Zara store.

Horrible experience at Bristol Zara store UK. This used to be a good place to shop a few years ago. However, the security guards have recently been treating so many customers like thieves or suspects as they walk out of the shop. I purchased one item which was packed by their staff member in their branded brown carrier bag plus the receipt. Three security guards stopped me and asked to search my bag. The purchased item and the receipt were the only items in the bag yet they were treating me as if I had stolen gold. Their staff member confirmed that the item was paid for, only for the security guard to imply that they stopped me because the item was not popping up on their device. Even designer stores do not treat customers the way Zara Bristol is lately doing. Its very disappointing. I have seen other customers treated in the same manner as they walk out of the Bristol store. Some security guards cause a scene and embarrass customers as they walk out yet cameras are set throughout in the store.

I bought a pair of shoes from the Southampton store. Every pair of shoes of that kind were labelled with a reduced label 39euros . When I got to the till I paid and realised I’d been charged £50 . When I asked the lady at the till why I had been charged that, she told me 39 euros is £50 when it is in fact just over £34. I’ve checked the price of the shoes online and it looks like someone in the store just mislabelled all of the shoes with the incorrect price and the lady at the tills doesn’t know anything about pricing or conversion rates. Really disappointed with the service at this store

Unacceptable experience: cancelled order & misleading customer support

I placed order #54248597435 (€42.90), and the amount was immediately blocked from my account. Three days later, the order was cancelled due to “lack of stock,” despite the system allowing the purchase in the first place.

The most concerning part was my interaction with Customer Service. Initially, the representative claimed that my order number did not exist in their system. Only after I mentioned that I had payment receipts and screenshots did the order suddenly “appear,” and the cancellation was acknowledged.

This raises serious concerns about the reliability of Zara’s online services:

* Charging customers for items that are not actually in stock
* Providing inconsistent and inaccurate information through customer support
* Failing to offer a clear explanation or apology

I expect the immediate release of the blocked funds and a proper explanation for this experience. At the moment, this situation has significantly reduced my trust in their online store.

Zara has terrible service

Zara has terrible service. If I could I would give 0 stars. I have registered a return in time, but they have failed to provide me with a return label or code in time. After numerous chat discussion I have finally got a return code, 3 months after I registered the return. I have returned the items and now they claim that the return cannot be accepted because it is too late. I have wasted hours with this matter, and in the end I will have to pay not only the products but also several extra fees.

Children’s clothes shrunk!

I purchased children's clothes and was so disappointed to find that after one cool wash the items had shrunk! I followed the care instructions but the items still shrunk. Considering Zara is more expensive than other high street and supermarket clothes they didn’t stand the test of time like other brands do.

I’m very disappointed with this…

I’m very disappointed with this experience at Zara Park Royal in West Vancouver .

I purchased an unused item with all tags still attached, but due to an unexpected travel disruption, I missed the return window.

I was repeatedly redirected between the store and customer support without any real attempt to resolve the issue. I was only requesting a one-time exception in the form of store credit, not a refund.

As a loyal customer, I find the lack of flexibility and ownership very disappointing. This experience does not reflect the level of service I expected.

I would appreciate it if a store manager reviews this case seriously.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I ordered two blouses at the end of March. Nothing arrived. When I checked they had been returned to the warehouse. Hadn’t even got as far as a courier. I didn’t cancel them. It’s taken me four weeks and I still only have one blouse refunded. The worst thing is that you can’t speak to a human anymore. It’s all done by What’s App and chat. I’ve tried on multiple occasions and always told that I’d get a reply in 24 -48 hours which never happen. I’ve totally lost trust in Zara.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with this company regarding one order.

I returned two items (a top and a faux leather wrap skort) in unworn condition because the sizes were not suitable. Since then, I have neither received a refund nor had the items returned to me, despite being told they would be sent back.

I contacted customer service multiple times. They provided a tracking number but refused to share the courier name, making it impossible to verify or track the shipment. This lack of transparency is extremely concerning.

At this point, I have lost both my money and the items, with no clear resolution from their side. This has seriously affected my trust in their return process.

I would strongly advise others to be cautious when ordering, especially if there is a chance you may need to return items.

Kafka-esque customer service

What a ghastly company. I ordered 2 cotton shirts. 1 fell aparr after two wears and the other ones navy dye faded after 1 wash. I went to the Oxford (the city not the street) branch to return and two badly trained managers simply didn't know about England & Wales consumer laws and expectation of durability. I had a receipt showing I only ordered them less than a month ago. She kept repeating I had worn the one that fell apart - which I had told her! She then said no refund instore. Message online. Same ignorance there and eventually all I could get the Indian call centre staff to do/understand was exchange. Around and around we went, attachments don't load, they cut off chat midway, I tried to explain expectation of basic durability to zero comprehension by the staff. Ironically, I avoided Zara all my life. I should have never given them my custom. I never will after this.

Why are we all still shopping at Zara??

How is Zara still operating with such a huge amount of poor reviews?
The customer service is the worst of any store - their default position is that the customer is always wrong. And there is no ability to leave reviews of items on their website. This should scream out to us that the clothing/accessories/service is dodgy.
Purchased a blouse for £26. Followed the washing instructions to the letter. And it has shrunk to become unwearable. Can I complain? No. Can I return? Certainly not? Do I have to suck up the loss of £26? Most certainly.

How does Zara think they are above the law? My parcel was not delivered to my apartment and they are refusing to do anything about it! I have now had to send them this email - and I’ve contacting my bank to get my money back.
am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding an order I placed with your company which has not been received, and your subsequent refusal to investigate the matter further or issue a refund. Despite my attempts to resolve this directly with your customer service team, I have been informed that no further action will be taken. This leaves me in the unacceptable position of having neither received the goods nor been reimbursed. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, I am entitled to receive the goods I have paid for within the agreed timeframe. If the goods are not delivered, the retailer remains responsible for resolving the issue. Furthermore, if delivery does not occur, I am legally entitled to a full refund. Responsibility for the goods remains with the retailer until they are in my physical possession. As the items have not been delivered, your refusal to investigate or provide a refund is a breach of my statutory rights. I therefore request that you: - Conduct a full investigation into the missing order immediately - Provide a full refund without further delay if the goods cannot be located If this matter is not resolved within 14 days of this email, I will have no option but to escalate the issue further. This may include initiating a chargeback through my payment provider and seeking advice from Trading Standards.

Scam products and bad customer service - just CHEAP

I ordered three pairs of trousers of the exact same model and size 46 — two in beige, one in black. All three were supposed to be identical. When they arrived, only one fit correctly. The second beige pair was noticeably too small, and the black pair was far too large. Same model. Same size. Three completely different fits. This is a clear manufacturing quality issue.

I contacted ZARA's online chat to resolve this. I was promised a response within 48 hours. Four days later, still nothing.

I deliberately ordered multiple pairs of the same item because I intended to keep them all — I have been buying ZARA trousers in the same size for years. Now I am expected to pay €2.95 in return fees for two pairs that don't fit due to ZARA's own inconsistent sizing — not my mistake.

This is both a quality control failure and a customer service failure. I have since followed up in writing and, if unresolved, will be escalating to the Verbraucherzentrale Bayern and the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

Buyers beware: even ordering the same model and size is no guarantee you will receive consistent items.

Bought a Zara T-shirt, good for its price

Bought a Zara T-shirt around February 10, 2026, just needed something simple for everyday use. First impression was actually really good, fit is nice, sits well, not too baggy, not too tight. Fabric feels soft, comfortable, easy to wear all day, better than PullBear one, if you understand what I'm talking about. I ended up using it quite often, mostly casual outfits

But after some time, things changed a bit. After several washes, it started losing shape, noticeable enough. Also fabric feels thinner than at the start. It still looks okay, just not as fresh as at the start of wearing.

For the price, it’s fine
