Simple and Swift
Very simple and swift / Thomas Preston my Rep was swift and sharp no messing about / from start to finish brilliant service / but make sure you have everything in place i.e paperwork etc whatever Zero asks for I provided them with a little more to make the process simple / definitely would use them again / Zero down come people it's a no brainer / just awaiting a delivery date now (Five Stars)

Dealt with James
Dealt with James, all was well and kept me informed. Come to collection day... Was booked in for 10am got seen too at 11.45am. I wasn't too impressed tbh. I was a returning customer and the same happened when I collected my last car. I was given the keys at about 10.50 to go have a look around it while still waiting for the salesman. Once I got to him and he was going through stuff for the handover I told him about the scratches around the car and a deep one to the rear drivers door. I explained that I'm paying top money so I expect the car the same. He totally agreed and said that he will email James and he will get back to me when he returned to work. I explained that I had done my homework and there is a lot of reviews that state that once the car is handed over, the salesman have have had their sale and don't contact the clients who have complaints about the cars. Looks like I'm no different. No contact whatsoever. My brother is a detailer for a major car repairer and got out the scratches but still, the one on the rear door is there. The aftercare with this company is none existent and spoilt what would have been a 5 star review.

Vehicle issues with no resolution
The vehicle arrived with significant scratching / marking on the rear bumper. Furthermore, the SIM card which enables the sat nav to initiate often fails to register correctly upon startup.
When Hippo Car Leasing was contacted I was advised that this "falls within our used vehicle standards and is in keeping with the age and mileage (62.5k) of the vehicle". I was given the option to challenge this via a third-party conciliation service, which I am unwilling to do. All very disappointing.

Before you sign the paperwork we do send over our pre-sale information which outlines that as you're buying a pre-loved vehicle, there can be scratches and marks on the vehicle. Our standards go off the BVRLA standards and this would be the case at any other used car dealership. We understand this is not the outcome you were looking for and we do apologise.

The person who handled my matter was patient and willing to attend to all my queries. I know this is part of customer service but I was pleased and happy to do business. I only pray that the advise about the car I finally accepted stands just!!

Great experience so far
So far the experience has been excellent, Joseph has been great and very patient whilst I kept changing my mind on what car I wanted. He put forward lots of options and was happy to get different details when I asked. Finance and paper work was sorted quickly, just waiting on the manufacture to give me a delivery date 😀
