Beware of "hidden costs. Ask good questions.
The crew worked very hard and did an amazing job. However, at the end, the price reflected two main costs we weren't expecting. The foreman said we needed to tip 15-20 per cent of the total bill, which after tacking on over three thousand dollars for the packing materials to complete the move, the tip st fifteen percent was another thousand! I guess I assumed that the price was all inclusive. We were prepared to pay up to 4,900 and the bill was seven thousand plus. The tip was then expected to be 15% (at a minimum) over and above.
The service itself was excellent. The packing so well done (although they missed a small bathroom which I missed seeing as well). I have nothing but rave reviews for the men and the professionalism they showed. The main man, Nick, who did the quote was quite nice. However I guess I should have asked...how much would the packing be in material costs. We were prepared to tip all six men fifty dollars just to be nice. The foreman said it was optional but really it wasn't. The pressure was clear that it was expected and part of the process. I'm not saying not to use them but what I am saying is make sure you use the words, "exactly how much will the packaging cost me" and if there are customary tips, what exactly might they run. I had many estimates and thought I did my due diligence. Their prices seemed quite competitive but in the long run, they were much higher than expected.

I scheduled this moving company to move to a new house. They came early and they wrapped all the furniture and they were fast in packing and loading the furniture. They delivered all the furniture in the same condition that they took the furniture. They were very careful not to scratch the wall. The workers were very polite and professional.
