Needed a couple of double sockets in time for the electricians to fit before finishing their job. Ordered on Wednesday, and sent an email to ask if the items could be sent asap. They arrived Thursday lunchtime and I took them straight over to the fitters. Not only that, but they were cheaper than Toolstation and FREE postage on that item. Full marks all round!!
Appalling customer service. I’ve been chasing a refund for goods returned best part of a month.
ZLT - terrible service.
First they "lost my consignment saying it has gone to another part of the UK".
Second they used DHL only for the courier to state it could not deliver the goods.
Third the ZLT courier service stated that on 27 February 2025 in East Anglia the weather conditions were so bad they could not make a delivery. The weather was calm, no rain, no wind.
I cannot trust ZLT Electrical - and nor should you.
Having had loads of challenges finding the right mini fluorescent tube lamp replacement, a quick phone call to their customer services confirmed that they had stock but that I had just missed the order cut off time for the day. I confirmed that I'd order using their website anyway, completing the order 45 mins later that afternoon. Next day the consignment arrived at 10.15am - WOW!
They've earned the "ever best customer support" badge. :-D
Bought a handful of led bulbs 2 years ago (with 5 years warranty). One of them was noisy, I wrote an email and in ~10 minutes I've got a confirmation that they sending me a replacement. One of them died recently. I wrote an email and in ~20 minutes I've got a confirmation that the replacement is on the way.
It's an outstanding handling of customers issues. (I think.)
I definitely checking they stock when I'll need anything "electrical".
