Zotto started off very well

Zotto started off very well. The payment processing was incredible. Low rates with quick settlements.

Unfortunately I was also victim of their scheme.

I closed my account with zotto and they held my funds for 12 months. I was due to have my settlement on the 1 April 2023, still waiting. I do not advice to buy any product from this company
I have NEVER sold CBD products so why are they still holding my money. Get your act together ZOTTO and pay me my due funds.
This company will do everything they can to retain your hard earned money. STAY WELL AWAY

Zotto are Holding 5 Figures of Funds

We have used Zotto for their payment gateway for over 2 years now, and I'm extremely disappointed to be put in the position of writing this review.

As a summary, Zotto has shown a disregard for their clients, being economical with the truth at best and is currently holding *our* money for reasons which are unclear, if at all true. This is not a company I can in good conscience recommend.

A number of months ago, Zotto's settlement payments became irregular and we're much less per week than was going into the account. It meant that 5 figures of our money is in the account and we cannot get access to it.

After months of back-and-forth emailing, we received multiple (copy/paste) replies that our settlements will be increased and the issue was being 'worked on'. Our settlements became sporadically smaller so we launched a formal complaint as this issue was having a significant negative impact on our business.

Most recently, we had been told by the Founder & CEO, Faridoon Qazi, and a customer service agent that the issue was caused by an audit and that the issue will be rectified once the audit is complete. We were later notified that we'd receive 5k until the account was at a normal rolling balance. Again, when the time came, Zotto did not follow through and the amount of money in the account has not changed. Tiny settlements as low as £150 are being sent.

We were then advised: "... please know that we are willing to settle the account once you start using us completely."

Zotto is holding *our* money and do not seem to be making a genuine attempt to settle. I'd advise any potential client to look elsewhere as this is not a company to be trusted.

Depressing

Similar to other CBD Business's, I have been unable to get more than £200 from Zotto. They promised they would settle 85% of my account but sadly they did not. I don't really know what to say, I cant pay staff, I cant pay bills due so I am at a complete loss.

We are fully regulated and compliant with lab reports, novel food and have been told we're fine, so i really don't know what to do.

Zotto were really useful until a few months ago. They said it was down to other sellers selling illegal goods so it meant they had to audit all high risk accounts (fair), but now its all passed and still nothing, so I am at a loss.

If anyone from zotto can help please do contact me on my email and I will change my review.

Stay away

Stay away! Absolute scammers. HopeCBD have been using zotto for a length of time now. Initially no issues until most recently (the last 6 months) has seen our account being stopped with funds no longer accessible. We too have been given the same excuses and offerings of a weekly payment term as others have. Despite agreeing to this, Zotto have not even been able to maintain their payments of £150 per week for a £10k account!!! And now payments have stopped entirely, despite the transactions still being processed.

HopeCBD have never breached any regulations or rules or had any compliance issues. The company has its products registered via the FSA Novel Food process and has always remained fully compliant with all regs and laws. Zotto simply cannot use “compliance” as their reasoning to hold company funds. They are clearly in financial trouble and not telling their clients.

Stay away from Zotto. There are many others which provide a good service, moreover you’ll actually get your money out them.

To add to that, Hope CBD have not had a payment from zotto since 7th it September!! Utter scandals!

I am writing this review because I lost…

I am writing this review because I lost my job today with Pure Organic CBD after working there for 8 months. The company has been growing steadily since I began but because of Zotto, we were never able to collect the money from our sales. They would pay us a small amount that was nowhere near what we were taking in.

After leaving my desk for the final time, my colleague showed me that Zotto owes our company over 16k in funds, but they would settle a couple hundred pounds and euros a week. How does Zotto expect a company to survive at these low and ridiculous amounts?

I have witnessed fighting in our office about Zotto not paying us. The frustration it caused made for a depressing work environment because no matter what we did positively, we were never sure if we would be paid for it. All because of these people who we felt were lying to us daily and offered no concrete information at any moment.

The staff at Zotto would reassure us that everything would be fine, but after months of fighting daily for the money, the end result is me being let go during these tough times. The Zotto customer service would tell us the same messages each week, but when it came time to settle our account, the money just would not be sent.

Before posting this review, I noticed our company is not the only one with these problems. Looking at the response to their other reviews here, they say compliance issues are the root cause. The strange thing is, all of our products are 100% compliant, we’ve never “pushed the boundaries” with our products and have everything registered with Novel Foods and the EFSA.

It is not fair what this company is doing. They say they are FCA compliant, but there is no way what they are doing is legal and they should be investigated right away. If you are a CBD company, stay away! It will only lead to your business going downhill fast. There are plenty of other options out there. Why did this have to happen?

Definitely a bunch of scammers and criminals since the employees who work here are international students who plagarised, failed and faked their degrees. When held accountable with clear evidence, they've used all sorts of cheap tactics including claiming racism, blackmail and following people around to threaten them. They even claimed to call the police over defamation. Disgusting and despicable behavior at its best.
God knows what their business operations and treatment of clients are like with this kind of behavior.

The emails sent with your fancy words were already read by Trustpilot. How do you claim that it's a personal issue now after claiming to call the police over 6 months ago.
Your employees are representatives of your company and so is your email and phone number.
It's more nonsense to falsely claim people are leaving personal reviews on your company and you when you've twisted the narrative now. All of these other personal negative reviews about you seem to be from actual clients.

Do not trust

Do not trust! We have been with you guys for over two years and in March you decided to hold 80-90% of my money in your zotto account. Your communication skills is poor, I have been asking numerous times and the reply is the same message. It’s so bad we have already got Financial Ombudsman involved which are now taking this matter further. I have spoken to another client of yours who has the same issue as us and can’t get through to anyone to speak to. You standard reply from looking at similar issues is you are part of FCA but that does not mean anything. The trust for this company has been lost… we were not told about any reserve prior to contract, we were not also told about any changes you wanted to make. Your terms and condition state you would notify us of any changes you would make. What makes you think it’s acceptable reserve 80-90% of my money without notification and when questioned nobody in your team has ever heard of it. Your company is a joke. It’s funny you have so many negative reviews. You haven’t even bothered to hand your company files to the financial ombudsman services when requested. Why would that be? Pure scammers and fraud. Do not trust this company. PS we have had no numerous conversation about it at all. #liars

Good Afternoon Pritesh, As we stated to you in numerous conversations, as per our merchant agreement, We hold a reserve percentage, this is as a percentage taken from the amount of processed card transactions which are always settled back even after off-boarding.

However this figure is subjective on a case-by-case basis. Upon on-boarding any merchant we take into consideration a number of factors (e.g. the products offered, the merchant’s previous processing history data etc.) and, if appropriate, we revise this, with standing these facts, we bring these reserve percentage amounts to the merchant's attention prior to presenting the contract to them and every merchant that enters into an agreement is fully informed, As Olivatsu your reserve percentage was subject of the products you sold, products like seed products, alcohol, hookahs are classed as high risk.

We hope this provides more clarity and understanding of the matter.

All that has been sent is 1002 Euros. How these people expect us to be able to run business is beyond me. Really worried that we are never going to see the money that they owe us.

We have been using zottopay for arround…

We have been using zottopay for arround a year now and we a few issues, where money wasent paid in time and where the system was not accesseble. But now we have been waiting for our money for almost 6 weeks since the end of june. and we just get one lie after another. we did make payment 7 of july to our account but it failed. we imidiatly contacted customerservice that told us that there was not enough money in our account for the settlement.
Then we tried a lot smaller ammount so there was more than 2500 back in the account and this payment also failed. we then again contacted customer service. just for them next day to say that there is not enough money in our account. we imidiatly sent them screenshots of the balance and the payments. now they changed their story to that they have a small technical problem and we will get paid tomorrow. severel days went by and nothing did happen. We then did write to the owner of Zottopay directly on skype the 21 of july and here is his responce..(owner of zotto, 13:08
I know, it is because we have problems with API from our Bank, it is fixed and we have resent everything agin)
Nothing did happen. no money came, but the week after we got a mail that they were looking into complience of our webside, they even did write that we can continue trading and that the money will be sent yo us in a matter of days... at most we are so lucky to have another paymentgateway, so we took zottopay down. and that looks like a good idea. we then tried to transfer our money one more time on the 8 of july. and today on the 12 it just came back as rejected. we did write to customerservice again. 2 hours ago. it state tha time for answer is under 10 min. but nothing is happening. we can only recomend other business to find another payment gateway that dosent screw you over like they are doing with lies and false promisies...
and to zotto i will just say, dont come with another excuse. just send us our money, that is all...

Maybe giving you a negative rewiew, will force you to stop lying, and teel the trouth what is going on, instead komming with false explanations. and people continue to use your gateway. without posibility of getting the money out for paying rent employees and rent... risking bancrupt their companies.

After trying to get the dollars we have locked in our account, zotto customerservice did send us emails with sencitive information on severel other companies. even after we told them about what they were doing they continued sending that information out. for another 14 days of correspondance. suddently customerservice did shut down. and our account was deleted by zotto without we did get our money back. to everybody even thinking about to use them. think twice since they will keep your money, and fabricate stories about why they do not pay
