Broke under warranty and sent a dirty used replacement

The hair dryer was great until it stopped working! It took the company over 10 days to respond to my customer service request. Even though it was under warranty, they would only send a refurbished replacement and not a new one, and would only cover a warranty of three months for it. They also made me send a video of cutting the cord off my original hair dryer before they would send a replacement. When the replacement arrived, it was dirty & all of the filters were blocked and it smelled strongly of perfume. When I contacted them to complain and say this wasn't an adequate replacement and ask why didn't they clean it before sending it.. they said their customer service was closed for the next 10 days! This is unacceptable for such an expensive product and a company that is affiliated with L'Oréal.

Do not purchase this hair dryer

Do not purchase this hair dryer! I was influenced by an influencer and purchased their hair dryer. Having already purchased the Dyson previously, I always reached for the Dyson to dry my hair. Zuvi dryer was kept in its box and only used literally no more than 6 times. To my horror the dryer stopped working, I reached out to their customer service who were unhelpful and basically couldn’t care less. I was told to pay £90 if I wanted a replacement. I sent photos to show how new the dryer was and how little I’d used it, yet no sympathy and insisted I send almost £100 for a replacement! Don’t waste your money, this hair dryer does NOT LAST

I bought the Zuvi hair dryer which…

I bought the Zuvi hair dryer which worked very well for the first 3 months. Now it won’t turn on. I emailed the company to see if I could resolve the issue, they told me the voltage is too low and to plug it in somewhere with higher voltage to see if it would work. Generally very dismissive, no offer to look at it or repair it. I expected a far better quality product and better customer service. Thankfully the shop I bought it from has excellent customer service so I’ll just return it and get my money back!

Do not fall for the influencer hype

Do not fall for the influencer hype. This company are scam artists. I've had to file a chargeback with my credit card company after they engaged a courier who forged my signature and took a photo of the bus stop outside my building to claim a parcel was delivered-- and this was after I had already canceled the order and instructed them to redirect the parcel in the first place. Fortunately, I have a video camera on my door to prove to my credit card issuer that no one delivered anything at the time Zuvi claims-- they didn't know about that little ace in the hole since they didn't actually bother to deliver and have therefore never actually seen my front door!

If Zuvi had a decent product, they wouldn't need to resort to trying to push a canceled order on a customer and then, when that failed, outright threatening to steal my money and forcing me to waste my time with chargebacks. Unfortunately nowadays companies spend all their cash on marketing and astroturfed reviews, and this is what customers get to deal with as a result.
