I purchased a One Plus 11. After trying to set the phone up, the screen kept blacking out, it kept resetting, asking me to relaunch system. I sent TechintheBasket an email the following day after the phone arrived requesting I'd like to commence the refund process. It has takes days to get a response. After 3 weeks eventually received the details to return the phone.
I returned the phone to them 6 Jan, now I'm told to nearly 6 weeks on, it's still under review by the support team. The phone arrived to me faulty, within 24hrs of receiving it I emailed them.

I placed another order for the same product on 17/12/23 #ORD100241525, managed to set the phone up normally and no issues.
The 30 Nov 2023 #ORD100239397 was a faulty phone, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, rights to reject something faulty, goods to be of satisfactory quality. I'm entitles to my refund without any further delay.

Do not buy from here! Scam company in every way

I ordered an amazon fire stick, which turned out to be faulty. Looking at it I'm not even sure if wasn't a fake. I have been emailing for weeks to obtain a full refund. They have repeatedly told me that I will not get a refund unless I give them a 5 star review, which is fraudulent. They also told me a refund had been processed at one point, then back tracked again. I'm now doing through the small claims court (which is free for items under several hundred pounds in case anyone else is in the same boat) to get my money back.

Truly shocking that companies are still attempting to coerce and blackmail customers in this day in age for good reviews that cover terrible business practices. Not to mention that they are essentially making money for nothing by refusing to refund customers who have faulty products.

Complicated website, does not take all the cards it says it does, takes your money and later says it is not in stock. Refund in 5 days. Disgraceful

IMPORTANT FOR NEW CUSTOMERS TO READ - Having purchased Air-pods, which stopped working within 2 years, I have attempted dozens of time to make a claim and/or seek help under the 24 month warranty. There is no attended telephone number and they ignore email....I do not recommend this company.

I purchased some AirPods with 2 years extended guarantee and they refuse to refund or replace after they stop working. Impossible to contact them, I don’t recommend this, they clearly lie about what they sell

Ordered a pair of Sony WH-1000XM5 on the 28th Nov. I’ve used sites like this before (won’t list incase review gets taken down). But I know delivery usually takes longer than expected and items will usually come from HK. I’ve ordered 2 sets of airpods and an iPad from similar companies before without issue.

Everything was fine, I was sent the Royal Mail tracking number. I knew it wouldn’t work until it reached the UK and with strikes I expected even more delay. It arrived on the 9th Dec. However this is where the issues start.

After opening the packaging, which looked to be tampered with as it had cellotape all the way around the outside. I opened it to find out the headphones had been taken, leaving only the box, case and charging cable.

I contacted Techinthebasket immediately and had no reply in 4 days, going into the 5th.

I understand they may not have done this on purpose, but the fact is it’s their issue to sort out and they aren’t doing that.

So I’ll be filing a dispute on PayPal and leaving reviews so people are aware of my experience.

I also had doubts about ordering anything after reading some of the reviews but sometimes you have to take a chance which is what I did. I ordered an ipad 8th gen at a lower cost than anywhere else, ordered on 8th march and received on 15th march. The item was well packaged and the genuine article, so all in all a good purchase and I am pleased with my ipad. All companies get good and bad reviews so you have to make up your own mind, in my case a good buy and I will go back to them if I need anything.

Order a ipad on 3rd April. Told it would take 6/8 days working days.still no sigh of a delivery. .Sent various email asking where my item is.It was my daughters 18 th birthday present. It was on25 april. Very disappoint with the service .agood price if you ever recieved your goods.people order the same item after me and have received theirs kn your website.Told me the same response every email it would take 5,/6,working days with a delay due to coviid 19.Royal mail is delayed but not by 20days.Please send the goods or full refund.I will contact paypal and my card company soon

I recently bought a MacBook Air from this site. I was dubious given the poor reviews I had read about the service however decided to give it a go as paid by Paypal so a degree of security was there. I ordered the MacBook Air on the Monday, received my confirmation, asked a question with next day response, added a rush order for delivery in 3-4 working days and it arrived by DPD at 8.30am on the Friday morning - Very impressed and a massive saving on the best price major UK retailer I could find. It also had the UK plug adapter not the EU one so I am one very happy customer! Thank you for a solid customer user experience Tech in the Basket.

The after sale service is good ! They gave me an adress in france to return my product as i didn't want it and we have 30 days to do so wich is enough !
The product is under testing on their french warehouse and they will refund me in 2-3 working days ! So good service that i recommand to all !

Ps : I will update if everything goes right and they did refund me !
