My relationship with my UK bank was fine, until I mentioned Bitcoin. Then I was shocked to discover that 'my' money in NatWest wasn't actually mine: any attempt to send to crypto exchanges to buy Bitcoin simply failed. Bank said NO.
Then again, dealing with crypto exchanges was a horrible experience: garish casinos with the sole aim of steering your money into alts and NFTs.
All I wanted was a safe, pleasant environment to interact with my fiat and Bitcoin.
Xapo Bank was that safe, pleasant environment. A regulated custodian with a sleek, elegant app where Bitcoin and fiat are treated equally, a gorgeous card with no FX fees, text and video support from a named account manager. Even the adverts are tasteful.

The App is easy to use, customer service is responsive, its nice to see a business that actually replies via a person and does not rely on often hopeless chatbots. Having a published email address is good. However when all else fails (as has recently happened with the AWS outage) having a phone number to call is a good backup. Having a personal access phone number would be useful in such cases. One crypto related product which I am surprised you dont offer is digital gold, so PAXG or XAUt. PAXG in particular seems well thought of. The Xapo BTC loan product is easy & quick, options are well presented. So, all good, thanks

The company has an endless KYC, exchanges such as coinbase, I guess they wanted to see transactions since I already had sent statements of 3 months ago and Bybit are way more convenient. At the moment it has taken more than 1 month and still no clue when the process will end.
