After not doing well in my A-levels the first time, I found it really hard to find somewhere that wasn’t crazy expensive but could still give me predicted grades and provide reliable, high-quality help with my personal statement.

When I came across Xavier Ed and booked my first call with Joanne, I was instantly reassured — and honestly so grateful to have found her. Now that I’ve applied, I can genuinely say I’m so, so happy with how everything turned out.

I’ve been able to send off a really strong personal statement and I now have predicted grades that I’m proud of. Joanne has supported me throughout the whole process, and I would 100% recommend Xavier Ed to anyone who needs help with predicted grades, personal statements, or anything university-related.

I think the company was great in being empathetic and understanding towards my unique circumstances and they gave me the safe space to explain myself and my situation. Joanne is an excellent tutor, very knowledgeable in all the sciences and Math, wow. My daughter received an A for biology, chemistry and physics. My daughter really enjoyed working with Joanne as she is kind and explains everything so well.

The service was very actively helpful and it was clear that there was determination and passion out into their work. At times, she takes a bit too long to reply but I can assume that it’s only because she has many more students that she needs to juggle and make sure she is helping. However, overall, my experience with Xavier ed has been very worthwhile.

Joanne has tutored both my siblings since they started secondary school for both GCSE and A Level Maths. One of them also took A Level Chemistry with Joanne.

From year 7 all the way up to year 13. The eldest has recently received her A Level results, 3 A's with an offer to UCL which would not have been possible without the tuition they received throughout. It's important to note that Joanne was also always available to help them outside of their normal tuition hours when they were under immense pressure, particularly as exam season approached which she did not have to do. She went above and beyond what any other tutor could have done. They always had a direct line of contact. My youngest sibling is still continuing her studies with Joanne as she now moves into her A Level studies.

Joanne is an exceptional science tutor who has been instrumental in my children's progress. She tutored both my son and daughter;
my son in GCSE triple science, focusing on consolidating his learning and practicing exam papers. Her deep subject knowledge helped him clarify complex topics and develop a thorough understanding. My son felt well-prepared for his exams. Although we are still awaiting his results, he came out of the exams feeling positive, which speaks volumes.
