If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would! Stayed home all day just for them to send a message that the tech couldn’t get into the gate so he left. Why didn’t he call our phone? Or go into the office? They would have let him in. Or wait and follow someone in. People come in and out all day and night. He did none of that because he didn’t want to be bothered to try. It’s Friday and it’s raining. He just didn’t try. By the way texting from an unknown number doesn’t come thru because it’s not saved. Another reason to CALL! So now another three days with no WiFi! I should charge y’all for missing work for nothing! UNBELIEVABLE

Like pulling teeth to cancel service

Placed an order, found a better deal from another provider, went to cancel less than 24 hours later. Installation was scheduled for 2 weeks later. It should have been as simple as calling to cancel a pending order. Instead it was a half hour teeth-pulling exercise with repeated holds.

I am a 25- year long customer

I am a 25- year long customer. I always had at least 2 accounts with xfinity (mine own +my 80 yrs old parents ), or 3 ( +my small restaurant). I have to cancel them one after another. I canceled the last one (my parent') a week ago. The fees went up from $80 in March to 100 in April, 120 in May and 180 in June on the statement. Since I was on autopay, I kinda just sat there and not seeing where it was coming after years of slight increase on fees. Their explanation was my 80 year-old parents overused the data on the tv-streaming box ( that is all they use the internet for). The question is I wasn't even aware of my internet plan was data limited plan after all these years. And how likely my parents increased their data use at such a pace? That's frustratingly unreasonable. It was always customer's fault...And after all the cancelations, followed not by apologies or compensation but bombs of phone calls by sales peoples out of 9/5 hours. Sick of it. Blocked all the calls.

Internet service has been down 12 hours…

Internet service has been down 12 hours (since midnight) and I work odd shifts so I am awake during these hours. All Xfinity's support robots/apps have to say is that it will be fixed in 3 hours and keeps adding 3 hours each time that time elapses. I would think by now they would have contacted all customers and give the the truth of the actual issue, a REAL estimate and promise refunds, both for loss of use and using phone hotspot time. This contempt for their customers deserves a class action at the very least

Dealing with Comcast Xfinity has caused…

Dealing with Comcast Xfinity has caused frustration beyond measure. If you're rich and are OK with really high charges and surprises, this can work for you. If you don't want bills upward of $600, don't go with them. We started with internet, cable, and were forced to get voice (phone) as a package...over the years the bill grew and grew to the point that we had to shut it all down except for internet and a basic Xumo streaming box package. However...the process of downgrading services was a nightmare. Hours on the phone and via chat with around a dozen reps for basic changes to be made to the account. Continuously told it was all set only to find out it wasn't. This company owes me money and time. I despise this company. No, I don't recommend it. Get internet with anyone else and then just get streaming services. Cable is dead. Thanks "Xfinity Comcast" for creating a monopoly and then exploiting your customers.

By the way if you think I'm exxagerating...tell me why every time I call, I am told a completely different thing. Also, if the people who work there can't explain the bills or services and be consistent how the f am I gonna keep up? It's a mess.

I'm begging you to not go with Xfinity Comcast. I'm saving you.

I had such a bad experience with…

I had such a bad experience with Xfinity Mobile that I had to finally write this review!
Xfinity Mobile billed my husband and me for over 8 months after I sent my S23 Galaxy phone back to them, and I verified it by giving them the FedEx Tracking number.
They told me that the phone had been received in their warehouse, but had been lost in transit...which was "not you're fault".
Coming to terms with that, I spoke to at least 5-6 different agents at Xfinity Mobile, who told me that I was due a refund of $75.58 for the last 8 months, because I was being overcharged for the last 8 months!
To cut this short, (after speaking with about 12 different agents, and countess hours) I then spoke with a manager named Alexander and he told me that I should expect a refund of $600.00, and $100.00 (for my troubles and countless hours on the phone with numorous agents), I should expect this "amount credited to my credit card ending in 8482", which is the credit card we used to pay our Xfinity Mobile phone account each and every month, since 2018.
Alexander, the manager, said we should expect the $700.00 credited to our credit card ending in 8482 within 7-10 days from the date of our conversation.
That was on June 19th, 2026. I checked our credit card statement on July 1st, 9 days after Alexander said the refund would hit the credit card statement. Nothing! I checked it again on July 2nd, and again Nothing!
I called Xfinity Mobile again that same day, and I spoke with Michael, an agent and asked to speak with a manager and he told me their wasn't any supervisors or managers available. I asked him how long I would have to wait on hold for a manager, or a supervisor to come on the phone, and he said he didn't know.
I hung up and called back and spoke with Moe, who was very rude! Telling me he was "looking into it". I waited on hold for 36:56 minutes before Moe came back on the phone and said he's been speaking with his "back office support team, and they're with him as far as the refund to your credit card ending in 8482 goes and not to the Xfinity Mobile account. I'm trying to get the refund applied to the credit card ending in 8482."
Mohamed then came on the phone and said that the refund would be credited to our Xfinity Mobile account, instead of our credit card ending in 8482.
I was so angry at that point, I told Mohamed that my husband and I were going to turn in our phones and go to another phone carrier, and hung up the phone.
The next morning I received a voicemail from Xfinity Mobile requesting a call back, stating that they wanted to hear more about my feedback about my experience.
I called back only to get more of the same BS!
Xfinity WIIL NOT BE REFUNDING US THE MONEY FOR THE 8 MONTHS THEY'VE BEEN OVERCHARGING US....THAT'S $700.00 WE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN REFUNDED BACK TO OUR CREDIT CARD!!!!
You need to be aware of Xfinity's billing practices because they will rip you off, without you knowing it.
We've been loyal customers since 2018 and now we're taking our business elsewhere!

This is a very disappointing and…

This is a very disappointing and disgusting company I had internet for two days and they cancelled my service without notice. After talking with several people I was told it was being escalated to some department. They would not transfer me to management saying they would call me, I never heard a word. My son attending college just moved into an apartment complex so I informed him I would take care of the internet. They said we could not get service because the last tenants left a huge bill. Which we had nothing to do with. Asked them to contact the apartment complex they said no. Customer service and management do a poor job the only communication was a text saying to return the equipment without mention of a refund. Very poor company and its practices. GN

I made a bill adjustment with Xfinity…

I made a bill adjustment with Xfinity on the weekend to keep the internet on until I got paid. I had to call over and over several times before I could even set the delay. Monday morning promptly at 8am the internet went off. I then called Xfinity explaining that I'd set a later payment date, the rep apologized and restarted the internet. Tuesday morning a promptly at 8am the internet once again stopped. Apparently they were not honoring the extention so I checked my account and paid the proposed agreed upon for the arrangement. The internet was once again restored. Two days later I check my account, the same amount that I made arrangements to pay that did not keep the internet from being terminated twice was removed from my bank account a second time. My daughter is sick and bedridden. That second payment taken was monies that I need for her. We've were long time customers with Xfinity for over five years. This is a company that does not honor their loyal patrons. Their CS sucks. The supervisor claimed that he does not have a boss, but if he owned the company and has no boss, there's no way he would have returned my call. I give this company a GIANT ZERO.

Xfinity reps lie, don't make changes they promise

I asked Xfinity twice over the past year to change my spouse's cell plan from unlimited to 1G. Both requests were made over the phone. Both times the rep assured me they had made the change, BUT NEITHER DID. The second rep promised me they'd fixed what the first rep had not, and I foolishly believed them (because how could TWO reps months apart screw up such a simple request??). Because our bill is never the same amount, it wasn't possible for me to track month-to-month costs. Today I went into the Xfinity store to buy a new phone and was informed that my spouse still was on the unlimited plan -- this, after two Xfinity reps assured me they'd switched him to 1G. So for about a year we've been overpaying.
This was a deal-killer for me: I am switching to T-Mobile tomorrow. Xfinity cannot be trusted. They either train reps to lie, or the reps are incompetent. Neither compels me to give them more business.

Big mistake switching from Verizon Fios…

Big mistake switching from Verizon Fios to Xfinity. I got lured by the lower price for the same advertised speeds. Worst decision!
Getting the service set up was a nightmare. Their chat support is useless. Every time I chatted, it felt like I was the one training the agents on what service I had and what the problem was. You explain everything from scratch over and over again.
The first few days the speeds were as promised. Then for the next three weeks, my internet dropped at least 6 times during the workday, each outage lasting 5–10 minutes. Super disruptive when you work from home. I had Verizon Fios for five years and never had this happen once.
Then, before I even got my first bill, the internet went out for five hours in the middle of the day. The agents acted clueless, had me reset the modem a million times, wait 10 minutes after every reset, and wasted hours troubleshooting. Then I get a text saying there’s an outage in my area and they’re working on it. So they knew all along it wasn’t my equipment.
What good is fast internet if it’s not reliable? Xfinity loves advertising reliability, but that wasn’t even close to my experience. And don’t even get me started on those JD Power “awards.” Between Xfinity’s marketing and those ratings, it feels like one big scam. Never again.

Horrible

Horrible. They notified me that there was a "courtesy switch", they were making the speed faster, for "no extra charge!". So I contact them, and get verification. I was told this was correct. I made it a point to tell them that I don't want a suprise bill later. I dont want it faster if I will be charged more later, as I cant afford it. They insisted this was some courtesy thing they were doing for appreciation of their customers for being with them. I wasn't going to be charged. My bill is on autopay, to save money. 3 months later. My bill went from $60- $110!!!! No notice no nothing. I called them, they denied every telling me it was just a courtesy. Gaslit me saying it was only 3months and they told us this. I am a single mom, I have to figure out how to pay my rent now because I live paycheck to paycheck and they literally stole from me. I'm short! They LIED. They refuse to refund me. State I "already used the service". Disgusting customer service. So pissed I can't use another company and that they're the only ones available.

Just Awful.....

Great product, abysmal customer service and broken AI systems. I was a customer for 18 months with an Xfinity internet package. The connection itself was great, reliable, and fast. However, their customer service and automated systems are completely broken. After falling late on a bill, I spent over an hour trapped in their chat system trying to reach a human before giving up and using their AI bot. The AI bot walked me through setting up a payment plan. It explicitly informed me that my internet would stay active, provided I made a payment by July 2nd.Instead, my internet was cut off on June 18th—just two days after entering the agreement. I work from home, so this really affected me negatively. I spent hours trying to reach a live person to fix the mistake. When I finally did, I was told that while the payment plan was in the system, I actually "did not qualify" for it. To make matters worse, when trying to resolve this over the phone, I encountered severe language barriers. The accents were so heavy that phone communication was impossible, showing that this large company would rather save a buck than hire staff who can communicate clearly with American consumers. As an office manager with over 25 years of customer service experience, I can tell you that Xfinity is a masterclass in what NOT to do. I have turned in my equipment and switched to a smaller provider. I am much happier now, even with slightly slower speeds. Large companies need to stop relying on untrained staff and broken AI bots to save a buck at the expense of the consumer.

I switched from AT&T to Xfinity Mobile…

I switched from AT&T to Xfinity Mobile after an Xfinity representative assured me they had better coverage in my area. I specifically asked them to verify the signal before switching, and they confirmed it would be good.

Unfortunately, from day one, the service was terrible. I barely had any signal, and my mobile data speed was only **1.7 Mbps**, making it almost impossible to use my phone.

When I contacted customer support, they simply said there was nothing they could do and suggested I switch providers if I wasn't happy. I feel I was misled into switching based on inaccurate information. Very disappointing experience.
