XM Scam Alert for traders

I have filed complaints with FSC Belize and CySEC and contacted the crypto exchange with the TXID. Very bad experience with XM – Profits removed and long withdrawal delay

I created a trading account with XM and completed all verification successfully. Then I deposited $1,100 to start trading. I opened a sell position on XAU/USD (0.8 lot), and that night, gold dropped more than 1,000 pips. I closed the trade with a profit of over $6,000.

After that, XM claimed that I violated some terms (which they didn’t clearly explain) and removed all my profits, leaving only my initial $1,100.
They asked me to reverify my account before withdrawing, which I did as requested. However, more than a month has passed, and I still haven’t received my money. When I contacted support, they only told me to “keep waiting” without giving any timeframe.

I am very disappointed with how XM handled this situation. I hope they review my case and provide a clear explanation. Traders should be cautious when trading with XM and test small withdrawals before depositing larger amounts.

WARNING: XM Held My Funds Hostage - A Nightmare Before Even Trading

Let my experience be a stark warning to anyone considering depositing with XM. I am writing this review not as a disgruntled trader, but as someone who had to fight for weeks just to get my own capital back without ever placing a single trade. This is not about trading losses; it is about a fundamental failure to process a simple refund.

My ordeal began when I tried to move 242.3515 USDT to my XM account. Due to a timing issue, XM correctly agreed to refund the amount. They even generated two BVNK payout links. One worked; the other did not. This is where the nightmare began.

For two full weeks, XM held my money hostage under the guise of "investigations." I provided every piece of evidence imaginable. I involved the sending party, FP Markets, who provided undeniable proof the funds were sent. I involved the receiving wallet, SticPay, who provided written confirmation they never received the payment. Both third parties verified that the point of failure was 100% within XM's systems.

Despite having all the evidence and all parties copied on communications, XM continued to stall. They asked for the same documents repeatedly, creating an endless loop of delays while my family suffered. The sheer operational incompetence and lack of urgency over a significant sum of money is staggering.

This notice is my final word to XM: I will not stop. I have already initiated formal complaints with financial regulators, including the Belize IFSC, and will pursue every legal avenue available. You have failed in your most basic duty: to return client funds.

If you value your capital and your sanity, think twice. There are far more trustworthy brokers who do not make you beg for your own money.

Got refund after a month but still lost money and missing some

UPDATE Nov 12: Finally got the refund today. Took 27 days. But Im not happy about how this ended.

First problem - they only sent back my first transaction. The second one (about 5 or 6 bucks) is still missing. Small amount but its still mine.

Second problem - they gave me back the same BTC amount I sent them, not the dollar amount. Bitcoin went down since October so I got back less money. I put in 505 dollars worth of BTC, now its worth maybe 480 or 490. If my deposit worked I wouldve had 505 in my account. But because it failed and took them a month to refund, I lost money from the price going down. How is that fair?

Third - no compensation for anything. Not for the fees I paid, not for my time dealing with this mess, not for having my money locked up for a month.

The taproot address thing was a technical issue, I understand that. But why did it take them almost a month to tell me? First 3 weeks they kept saying my money was "lost forever".

Their actual trading platform is fine. Works good, no problems there. But leverage on minor pairs sucks compared to other brokers. And after this crypto deposit nightmare Im never using them again.

If you deposit with them use bank or card. Dont use crypto. If something goes wrong they'll hold your money for weeks and you might lose value.

2 stars because they did refund eventually and the platform itself works. But customer service is trash and crypto handling is a disaster.

So this happened to me in October. Tried depositing 500 bucks in bitcoin. Made first transaction, wasnt enough, sent second one to finish it. Their page showed both and said 0 BTC left so I figured it was done.

Nope. Deposit failed. But they got my money, I checked the blockchain myself. Tracked it to their main wallet that has millions in it.

Spent weeks emailing them. Same questions every time - send us the transaction hashes, addresses, amounts, dates. I kept sending it and they kept asking like they never saw it before.

Alphapo their payment processor emailed me a refund thing on Oct 16. Clicked it, been stuck on "in progress" forever. Asked Alphapo about it, they said talk to XM. So XM has to work with their own processor but wont do it.

They kept saying funds are "lost" and "below minimum threshold". 500 bucks is below minimum? In a wallet with 4 million?

Even offered to forget the second small transaction, just give me back the first one (499 dollars). Still said no.

500 dollars is a lot of money where Im from. They kept it just because their system cant handle two transactions.

XM is 101% Scam

I deposited 500$ in xm on 24/09/2025 through UPI and I sent them the bank statement 7 to 8 times but there is no response from them, rather I sent the copy of the bob complaint as well. xm is 101% scam. They are saying that no money has come to them but it is clearly visible in my statement 7-8 times that the money has been sent. I tried my bank as well, the money has gone to them and their live chat is also useless. One thing, there is no limit on their deposit time. No one should deposit their money in xm.

XM seemed like a trustworthy broker at…

XM seemed like a trustworthy broker at first. However, after some successful trades, they flagged my account for "arbitrage" and blocked my withdrawal. They refused to pay profits and cited their vague terms.

The platform is smooth, but the bonus rules are tricky, and you can lose everything if they suspect anything — even without proof. I would not recommend XM to serious traders who value security and trust.

Withdrawal Delays and Account Blocked Without Reason

I requested a withdrawal last Friday, and according to their policy, it should have been processed within 24 working hours. It’s now Wednesday, and I still haven’t received my funds. They asked me to provide documents, which I submitted, but they were rejected multiple times without any clear explanation. I also scheduled a call with their team manager for 10:00 AM, but no one called me. They then booked a new call for 14:15, but that call never happened either — it’s now 14:30. They have also blocked my account without any reason.

This experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I do not recommend this broker to anyone.

Withdraw Problem

I have already submitted my documents to XM via email, and today it has been one week without receiving any reply. I sent my documents to three of their emails:

But I have not received a response from any of them. If you go to their live chat, they only repeat the same thing — that an investigation is ongoing.

Kindly resolve this issue as soon as possible and allow me to place my withdrawal. Thanks.

Xm has provided the most terrible…

Xm has provided the most terrible experience from a broker in Pakistan. Although it is regulated with local banks, they give you really limited options for withdrawal and make it extremely slow and difficult to do so. Secondly their customer support is slow and often doesn’t help in assisting if it’s for withdrawal purposes. Lastly i have seen small chunks of my equality disappearing without any record.
