We went to a country & western night…

We went to a country & western night upon arrival we all had to show ID not sure why! Toilets had no soap! Bar staff were rude, served someone else didn’t even notice we had been waiting 10 minutes before then didn’t listen as non of us were drinking alcohol, my sister was served alcohol. The place hasn’t got a very nice feel/atmosphere at all!

Chicane gig

Went to see Chicane last night who was brilliant however some of the security staff in particular one female were appalling , really rude with an aggressive attitude.
I spoke to a couple of ladies outside when the gig finished (10pm) and they said the same thing the staff were the rudest they had ever experienced. Bar staff ok but the rest absolutely awful .

Thought the club overall was fine

Thought the club overall was fine, Chicane night till 10pm... Drinks not bad value, but why would a club with 4000 people shut and then refuse 4000 people access to the toilets as they closed.. At 1000pm, we were told to p*ss on the street.. nice. Kinda ruined the night will never go back

Absolutely Disgusting Experience – Avoid XOYO at All Costs

Date of Visit: 7th March evening / 8th March early morning
Event: BRAT at XOYO
Ticket Type: Early Release Tickets

Absolutely Disgusting Experience – Avoid XOYO at All Costs

I had one of the worst nightclub experiences ever at XOYO and feel it’s important to speak out. My friend (a woman of East Asian descent) and I (a man of brown descent) attended the BRAT event on the evening of 7th March into the early hours of 8th March. We had early release tickets and were genuinely excited for a good night – instead, we were met with rude, unprofessional, and discriminatory behaviour from the security team.

Upon arrival, the bouncer immediately denied us entry, claiming my friend was “too drunk” – which she absolutely was not. He told us to return in 15 minutes. When we complied, he randomly changed it to 1 hour – despite last entry being 1am and it already being 12:30am. In front of us was a large group of white individuals who clearly appeared more intoxicated, yet they were let in without issue. This discrepancy was impossible to ignore and gave strong racist undertones.

When we politely rejoined the queue to clarify why we had to wait, the same bouncer became aggressive, swearing at us, saying we were “taking the f***ing piss” and refused us entry again. His behaviour was completely unprovoked, and we were in shock. After 10 minutes, he allowed us to queue again, but this time scrutinised our IDs to a ridiculous extent, questioning the validity of my friend’s internationally accepted ID. It was demeaning and completely unnecessary.

We later asked the bouncer his background – he said he was half Mexican, half Filipino. Regardless, the power-tripping from him and other security staff was unbearable. Throughout the night, we noticed white attendees were allowed to linger outside the club without issue, but we were repeatedly harassed and told to leave – even when we were well away from the venue on a public street. One white Eastern European-looking man from security aggressively swore at us, telling us to “f*** off” for simply standing on a side road. It was unacceptable.

The entire night was tainted. The club was dirty, the vibe was off, and the security staff ruined the experience with their unprofessionalism and abuse of power. It was giving ‘no power at home so let’s abuse it at work’ energy.

I will be reporting XOYO’s security staff to the Security Industry Authority (SIA), and I encourage anyone else who has been mistreated to do the same. This venue needs urgent undercover investigation into how their staff operate. There is no proper complaints process inside – they simply threaten to throw you out if you speak up.

Avoid XOYO – especially if you are a person of colour. The disrespect, discrimination, and power-tripping behaviour are not worth your time or money.

Zero rating should be given

If there is any ZERO rating, I would have given that .

They took £30 entry fee and prices for drink was too much . The event should be on till 4am in morning but they closed at 3am and if someone questioned it they said '' this is wht it is ''

Seriously?? You guys charged £30 till 4am and closed 1 hour early . So pathetic .

If you are ever going to this nightclub ..I recommend to ask them the timing of closing.

Stinks of urine..

Stinks of urine... terrible dj...horrible place... worst club I've been too :/ and I've been to so many different clubs over the last 15 years,as we like to explore what london has to offer, so we usually pick a different spot once a month, besides of going to our usual spots. Disappointed at £10 per entrance... maybe I'd understand this club if it was free for what they offer :/

Employees stole jacket from cloakroom

Manager: Ryan Farrell. Left my coat in the cloakroom for 2 weeks (say on their site they will hold for a month). Went back with the ticket, and the jacket wasn't there, and given I had the ticket still it was clearly stolen by an employee (without the ticket a customer couldn't have got my coat). I raised this with the manager in person, who confirmed he'd either get the jacket or send the money. I gave them all my contact details and bank details, and then Ryan just ignored all my correspondence since. Filing a police report shortly.
