Athens through YalaRent. Unfortunately, my husband suffered a sudden cardiac event and underwent urgent heart surgery (stenting) on Dec 24th. When I contacted the company to cancel and requested the necessary documentation for my travel insurance, they completely ignored my emails and even blocked me on communication channels! As a customer facing a family medical crisis, I am shocked by their lack of humanity and bad faith. They took the money and disappeared. Avoid this company at all costs

Yalarent rents out appartments in Athens claiming they are stunning and soundproof. In reality the condition of the rooms don’t match the photo’s on the internet and the street it is located in is completely run down and unsafe. A condition when renting a room is that you have to uphold quiet hours between 11pm and 9am. So you can expect a quiet area. They don’t say there’s a club next door which is open until at least 4am. With music so loud that it feels like the DJ is playing in your room on highest volume. And of course no refund for being misled.
