Only put one star as you cannot put none. Ordered a comfort seat for my MT-09 motorcycle. Seat stuck at DPD sorting office as all delivery information not given to them (though it was supplied). This... See more

Love their sea scooters
Love their sea scooters! People think they only produce motorcycles, but it is absolutely not the case, they have all kinds of equipment for watersports too, and if you are into it, you will definitely like their sea scooters especially.
Ordered an accessory for my motorbike
Update - I believe the issue was with DPD not Yamaha, therefore I have updated the star rating from one to three.
Ordered an accessory for my motorbike. Item showed as shipped the same day as the order but the shipping company tracking shows they have not received the item from Yamaha. After 5 days of this I tried to contact Yamaha. The contact email address shown on the order does not accept email and when I called the number on my order the line kept ending. The person on the other end says they have raised an investigation but I have little confidence. It's a shame as their products are OK.
Ridiculous customer service
Several attempts over more weeks to get in touch by phone with the the Danish branch of their customer service have resulted in nothing but an eery silence at the other end - it seems that the call is answered and a sound resembling human breathing is at the other end, but otherwise complete silence. Spooky! Well, at least one does not have to bother to consider buying a Yamaha product.
Denied the possibility to extend the…
Denied the possibility to extend the warranty based on the reason that I bought the bike in the UK and re-registered in Italy. Because of that Yamaha Italia would not extend the warranty because they don't find my bike frame number in their system. This is the second bike I bought and given the clients' support will be the last one.
The absolute worst experience ever
The absolute worst experience ever, I will never purchase another yamaha rubbish bike again.
I purchased a 2019 MT10 in April 2020. It recieved numerous warranty replacement parts fitted and at various times the bike was as much in the workshop as it was at my home. But one of the items replaced was the switchgear. Less than 12 months later the same problem happened again, but this time the bike was out of warranty. But yamaha accepted that this was clearly a faulty product and should be replaced. Unfortunately they took advice from a dealership who hasn't set eyes on the bike in a long time for there advice on the condition of my bike. My bike has fsh and unlike the dealership it's serviced when it should be.
Be wary there are better bikes and better customer service 👍

Appalling customer service
Appalling customer service. I bought an engine two years ago that has had intermittent problems. I have been extremely tolerant with repairs and a lack of use across two family holidays. Since complaining to both the authorised Yamaha dealer (Robin Curnow in Falmouth) and to Yamaha Motor I have had extremely slow responses, and zero response in the past three months, despite three chaser e-mails to ask what is going on. I will never buy Yamaha again and suggest that Yamaha review their dealership agreement with Robin Curnow, who has been unhelpful and patronising.

I agree with other customers here that their after sales service is extremely poor.
I have a brain tumour and require a hard copy manual of the engine I purchased. With my condition and being a first time user I need to be 100% assured of the workings of the engine before venturing out to the sea.
No interest in communicating
Yamaha quad bikes are fantastic. Well designed and great to use.
Unfortunately their EU customer service centre has absolutely no interest in communicating with customers. Over 5 weeks I sent 5 emails and made 2 calls. Finally I got a reply to say I should speak to a dealer.
Why no replies? The case was a simple question and yet they gave no answer or care.
Despite the quality of the products this puts me off buying a Yamaha quad again as if they won't help with a simple matter, imagine what would happen with something major.
