Product was delivered Broken

Product was delivered Broken, phone on day of receiving spoke to a really nice person called Petra who wanted an email with photo not a problem. Phoned up and spoke to Natalie who found the e mail who sorted the refund as the product was out of stock so they couldn't replace. Lovely items candles really great

Never received my item

Never received my item. Can't get through on phones. They don't reply to emails or Facebook. Seems I've paid money for something I'm never going to get.

Great product & price

I only ever use wax melts, and votives, from yankee, and I love the scents. Especially the flowery, fruity scents.

Staff in my local store are lovely, and always come up with great recommendations!

Not a great experience as a first time buyer, wouldn't use again.

On the 9th August I placed 2 orders with this company for some votive candles for my wedding favours. My orders still hadnt arrived by the 18th August so I emailed to ask when I could expect delivery. They replied to say that they had emailed me on the 11th (they definitely hadn't!) to say the items for both orders were out of stock and would I like a replacement or a refund, I requested a refund. I then proceeded to place an order with another supplier for the candles. Then on the 20th August, to my frustration, I received 2 despatch confirmations which partially fulfilled both of my orders with Yankee. This was extremely irritating as they had not advised me that they could (and intended to) partially fulfill my orders and had completely ignored my request for a refund. As a result I had to mess around changing my order with the other supplier and had to prompt Yankee to refund me the difference for the reduced number of candles supplied by them. Positive notes: the candles smell lovely, and the customer services team were very quick to respond to all of my email correspondence. It's just a shame they weren't more pro-active by contacting me first, and don't seem to have been entirely honest with me on the occasions I contacted them.

Quick delivery!

I bought 3 Christmas gift sets on the Yankee website during the week and they arrived 2 days later.

I was worried that the items would be damaged in transit as the sets contained quite a bit of glass but the parcel arrived well packaged and fully intact.

Very pleased with the purchases and the overall service from Yankee- It was my first time ordering from the site and it was a positive experience.

POOR PRODUCT WITH EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Spent £20 on a large jar yankee candle (one amongst many that I already own) however this one is faulty, after spending that amount on a candle you expect good quality, I am a candle lover so follow all the burning tips. The poorly made wick has caused my whole front room to be COVERED in soot, and as you may know removing soot off walls in an expensive and time consuming task. My walls looked absolutely disgraceful, it was an embarrassment to bring anyone into my home like that. Emailed yankee candle about the faulty product and waiting two weeks for a reply, swirly responded to wait another two weeks for a reply, again swiftly responded and three weeks later I am still awaiting their response. Within the month that yankee had replied I had already paid out £400 for a painter and decorator to do the walls - I am yet to have the ceiling done, and yankee then ask me for proof of my soot covered walls, maybe within 1/2 weeks I would have been able to provide that, however could only send pictures of the ceiling which isn't half as bad as what the walls were.

Yankee candle had the cheek to ask me to pay to have the very heavy candle send off for inspection, and they would then provide me with a yankee candle voucher to cover the cost - I don't plan on ever purchasing a yankee candle product again so what use was this to me?

Yankee candle then mentioned about claiming on my house insurance for their faulty product.. When I purchased this product I did not expect to have to foot the bill to repaint my whole front room.

So after over 5 weeks since I first emailed and having no response to my last email, all I can say is to anyone thinking of purchasing anything from the yankee candle range DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, you may end up with a faulty candle like myself which will end up costing you hundreds of pounds, which is by no means worth it. Just to add insult to my situation, I have NEVER received such poor customer service, I expected better.
