Toes in the sand all the time....what more can you ask for. The cottage was perfect. Our hosts, Anna and Harriet, made sure we wanted for nothing. The waitstaff were so attentive and friendly. Food was great (yummy grilled lobster). The Indian Ocean was so warm and the pools were lovely. Great rest after 6 days of safari.
A wonderful little boutique ‘retreat’ on a small beach with lovely staff, comfortable little ‘villas’ and truly delicious, freshly cooked food. There were gorgeous little ‘touches’ like eating in a different spot every evening (sometimes right on the beach, other times with lanterns by the pool). It’s hard to explain the feel of the place - except to say that by the end of our stay we were walking around barefoot. An enormous amount of work and attention to detail went into ensuring that all guests were incredibly relaxed and felt totally at home there. Although we loved it as a family, it would be the perfect place for a couple and definitely for a honeymoon. Just fabulous!
