The tent was great EXCEPT the back of the tent where the bathroom was, wasn't set up for the screen to be covered so it was FREEZING at night and in the morning when you had to use the bathroom. This made the tent pretty miserable. They did have a heater in the main area and hot water bottles in the bed at night but this didn't help when using the bathroom area. Also the shower wasn't very warm.
We loved this camp, it was incredibly cosy, with stunning views and excellent access to the crater. I’d come back here in a heartbeat, the staff were all so warm and welcoming. Issues with the WiFi were present, but not a big issue. Great showers with tons of hot water and excellent food.
Food was delicious! Great camp right on the rim of the Ngorogoro crater. Would recommend!
The staff and food at Lemala were amazing! They totally focused on trying to make your experience the best it could be. My guide MJ was outstanding!

The camp was in a great place and above all the staff was fantastic. Food and accommodations were great and exactly what I would have expected from what I was told.
The camp was high on the top of the crater, thus visiting in early Sept. it was chilly; however, the staff lighted a heater and even brought us a "bush baby" to warm our beds. The tents were large, the service excellent and the food very good.
Really nice camp with friendly and accommodating staff. Proximity to the crater makes it ideal. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in the area.
Everyone at the camp was fantastic. My guide, Stephen was a great companion. The food was great and I had a blast.. Thanks to everyone.
