This is the top of the top. A 5 stars lodge with friendly staff that accommodate your needs. A relaxing place with good food and amazing wine and cocktails. We rented the whole place for our group and it was perfect for 30 persons.

Exceptional safari experience. The lodge is stunning, and the level of service was fantastic throughout. The level of knowledge from the guides and trackers was incredible and helped ensure that every game drive was an experience.

I would rate it a 6 star if I could. It fully exceeded all of my expectations. Not only did we see the big 5 animals(and lots more), our guide and tracker also pointed out many different types of vegetation, birds, animal tracks etc. The service provided by everyone at Lion Sands was exceptional. The food was very good with a varied menu and the lodge and facilities were 5 star all the way. The extra star goes to our safari guide Anthony and Tracker Kruger. They were outstanding and did everything they could to make our safari's unforgettable. They succeeded in every way. Lion Sands boarders Kruger NP and is a private reserve that has many animals that have not been pressured like in Kruger. They also share their reserve area with several other Lodges thus giving all a massive area to find animals. They have a very good Leopard and lion population.
